Minimal wait time. Service exceptional.
Pad Thai- chicken was like old boot leather.dry and tasteless, certainly not freshly cooked. I fear it was at least yesterday's left overs
Chicken stir fry, tasteless and barely half a container.
Each $18.50
Would never recommend this place to anyone

Very good dinner, the massaman curry was a bit on the sweet side but still yummy. The basil and Chili was delicious and food came out quickly.

If you can handle a spicy dish the pork soft bone is the best dish in Perth. Service is great and it’s BYO.

One of my favourite Thai food In Perth. They specialise in Southern Thai food which I love.

Their Soft bone Curry, Fish curry are the best. If you love spicy food. You must come to this place.

Ordered takeaway. Food was tasty and fresh but the portions were very small - standard size containers that were only half full. Also they must have forgotten to put any chilli in the papaya salad because it was bland.

A rare hidden gem - lovely atmosphere with delicious food. Been meaning to come here for years - wish I had earlier.

Fresh, clean flavours beautifully presented.

My friend and I ate there last night before going to the Astor. I saw very mixed reviews online but decided to give it a go. It was the first and will be the last time I go there. I ordered Beef with Chilli and Basil, very nice flavour but a small helping. My friend ordered the Chefs Speciality of King Om with Beef and was expecting large bowl of soup. The serving was pretty small and the beef was so tough and gristly he couldn't eat it.

Good suburban Thai to try sooner rather than Lae-ter.
Dos:
- Fried fish in sweet chilli
- Mango sticky rice in season
- Lots of traditional dishes
Don'ts:
- I kept saying my name is Subha, and the guy kept saying "You're Uber? "

Didn't realise this gem of a little restaurant was so close to home. Really good in all aspects. Highly recommend a visit.

I travel a long way to have Longlae… it’s probably the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. Worth the trip no matter what part of Perth you live in!

Great authentic Laotian & Thai food in a small, intimate restaurant. Wonderful service with BYO alcohol too! Fantastic little gem that’s tucked away

Amazing! Amazing food, awesome service! I could eat a table load of their crispy potato wrapped prawns. The dipping sauce is drinkable!

The most authentic southern Thai food you can find in Perth. The yellow curry is still my favourite and taste exactly like in Thailand. I love how spicy all of their southern Thai food dishes are and it’s so rare to find any place in Perth to do this level of spice. The only downside is the fish wasn’t that fresh. It felt like they were using frozen fish but overall I still like this place.

Trying to support local but what was dissapointed tonight was what the waitress said. First we thought service is slow but is ok only one person working then forgive them when the dishes came out.the most dissatisfied dish was the sticky rice in which we barely touch it. We told them is hard and the male owner touch it and we thought we going to get a new one but instead got steam rice (see remains of hard rock sticky rice). Plus he didn’t look happy when we complaint and ask for more water. Then I ask the Waitress if we get steam rice price or sticky rice price before touching it then she said is cook today and I can correct the bill. If it is cook today it would be fresh and soft not hard prepacked. In the end They charge us sticky rice pricing when we specifically heard her she was going to correct it. Is the principal here where customers should be paying for what they are getting.

Anyway pad Thai beef was alright (wet) and the larb pork was tad too salty. Nothing to rave about. Money hungry people and Would not be going back due to dishonesty. Would take my $43.50 somewhere else!

Bad impression as it was slow service. We decided to let it go since only one person working. But what was very dissapointed was the sticky rice we ordered. It came out hard and looks prepacked and the male owner and waitress didnt believe us and gave us a sour unfriendly look when we enquire about the freshness of sticky rice and more water please and worst part she said she will honour it on the bill to change the pricing but when it came to payment they didnt even ask how was the food and deliberately choose to charge us the sticky rice when he took it away and touch with his hands and only came back with steam rice. I mean them losing $2 is big deal for them compare to losing two customers. Trust me we would have ordered your fried fish but with the attitude we would not return- is the principal here and please charge fairly on what the customer order and dont give hard rock sticky rice. Please see picture as we put it aside.

Anyway the larb pork was too salty and pad thai was too saucy. Tofu peanut wasnt great. It seems like they are very stingy in staffing levels and honouring customer complaints -_-. There are better thai restsurants out there. This was a rude and put off service.

We live in Thailand half the time for many years and love real Thai Food. If that is what you are after, Longlae is the place! We have tried many other Thai Restaurants in Perth but have been disappointed lots of times. This is the best Thai Restaurant in Perth by far. Very authentic. Very reasonably priced. This place is an absolute gem. Once you have gone there, we would be surprised if you will not become a repeat customer!

Takeaway took forever. Called up and was told 35 mins. Arriving there in 30mins. Waited from 7 til 15 pass 8. My family hasn’t eaten dinner and my kid needs to go to bed. They didn’t think my order was a priority, to let me wait for more than an hour.

Mothers Day Ruined by Longlae

On 8th May 2022, in order for us to celebrate Mothers Day, my wife ordered for a takeaway around 6: 30pm, the women on the phone told my wife to come at 7: 00pm to pick it up. I went there around 7: 10pm all the way from Bentley, when I got there, cashier told me that the order is not ready and told me to wait for 15 minutes. Even after 30 minutes waiting outside, the order was not ready. I then went inside roughly around 8: 20pm to check on it.
To my disbelief, cashier told me, they can’t take our order and went inside the kitchen without saying anything.
None of the staffs apologies me and I went home without a food and have to buy Mecca on my way home. Worst customer service ever.

Came here from a friend's recommendation, a surprising gem among residential area, and a stone's throw away from Hyde Park. You'll have to park there or on the verge as there's not much parking.

The food was good although they did ran out of cassava leaves which initially we wanted to try. We got a southern style spicy curry with pork soft bone and a serving of sticky rice to go with it. We also had a mild papaya salad which we glad we ordered it mild because the curry has a kick! We also got a iced Thai milk tea but we think it's a little bit too sweet.
