Lloyds Auctions, Perth reviews
21I have made many purchases from Lloyds Perth. I have always found the staff to be friendly and go out of their way to be helpful, particularly when collecting and loading.
Participated in an online only auction. Website states all bids increase auction time to prevent sniping. I was outbid with only 5 seconds left and the auctioneer ended the auction with time still left on the clock before I could bid higher.
Great service from the whole team at Lloyd’s Bassendean! From the lovely ladies holding the front end of the fort to those in the warehouse, all staff are friendly & helpful. For an auction house the service is amazing & I would highly recommend them ️️️️️
Not only didn't sell my vehicle, kept asking to pat more money for more customers and received my car back with a damaged front (brocken front spoiler) that Lloyd's denied them ever doing it.absolutely rubbish and wouldn't recommend them even to the most desperate people!
Would not even give this business a one star if there was an option of nil.
An absolutely pathetically run business.waiting months and months for a refund on a item they damaged at their facility.
Gage and the team were great in selling my vehicle. Got me a good price after some negotiation with the winning bidder.
Money did take 2 weeks to come through, so keep that in mind when selling through Lloyd's. Overall, the experience was good and I would use them again.
If only you could give 0 stars. What a joke of a company. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SO DODGY AND THE STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT and RUDE. Everything about this business is a complete fraud. I'm surprised they don't have more lawsuits against them.
Friendly staff but difficult to get a decent price on selling your car as even if it’s currently registered, it is has to be sold unregistered which is a shame.
I recently auctioned a classic car through Lloyds Perth and would highly recommend them. Looking at the reviews I was a bit nervous as id had the car a long time and it was a tough decision to sell so I really didn't want drama with the sale process. My experience was great from start to finish with very little required at my end. I avoided the negotiation, tyre kickers, all the concerns about security, theft and scams. I ended up with 20% more than I would have accepted for the car a month before putting it up for auction, even after the fees. Obviously this was a great result and is the special factor with an auction rather than setting a price on a collectors car. The car was sold to someone in Vic and they even handed the license plates back in for me! Highly Recommended
Wow, I can't believe they don't have more great reviews. The team here are fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. Emma has been a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to doing more business with her
Very very bad, sold my car a different price, bad customer service, not respectful.worst, will never go back ever!
Very bad service
Not respecting
They sold our car with out any permission and when we want to get the car back they don’t want to give it to us back
Very rude customer service
Be careful they are thief
The Most pathetic company, Don't Buy from them, I won an Auction for an Hermes Handbag for my wife, It was a Saturday and they insisted I pay within 48 Hours which I did even though I asked to wait until Tuesday, 4 weeks went by and I waited and waited for the bag or at the least the tracking number, which they said I would have within 24 hours of payment, Since then they have decided to cancel the transaction without any explanation, which I have asked 4 times for a valid reason, I have since contacted consumer protection for at least a reason why it was cancelled which I still waiting for, I can only assume that they found out the Handbag was a replica why else would they cancel the sale, Here is the kicker the refund will come in 30 Business days (that's their policy). So i have paid $8,000 within 48 hours and wait at least 2 months for a refund. DON"T BUY FROM LLOYD'S AUCTIONS, now its 22nd April still waiting for Refund, I call them everyday and I am told a Manager will call me back, Never happens
Impossible to contact auctioneers with questions regarding lots. Also, ridiculous to hold auctions without advertising the sellers reserve pricing. Just advertise the minimum price and start bidding from there, clowns.
Like a number of reviews have already mentioned, reserves for items are excessive. I won an auction for an ORIS watch, reserve price was more than sale price at Star-buy (online watch retailer).
If your going to have such high reserves, start the auction at an amount closer to that price, don't attempt to mislead new customers by starting the auction at $0.
Gage and his team went out of their way to assist me with my many questions about a classic car at auction on Saturday. There wasn't a question or detail that they could not answer.
Unfortunately I didn't win the car but I am very impressed with the assistance I received. Maybe I'll win the next one.
Good range of products, great people, very helpfull and friendly. For bidding and selling, check them out.
Always so nice and professional, love the range they have. Very new to auctions but will definitely go back.
False advertising! Absolutely trickery resulting in wasted money for absolute rubbish. Minimal pictures or description of items that are not what they appear. Don't risk it.
Auction said nothing about reserve price.won auction then told me under reserve price.what is the point in the auction?
