Little Viet Restaurant reviews
40The food here is a bit sweet. There was something missing in the food, but the staff's response was very disappointing. He just laughed it off. We also checked the business hours on maps, made an appointment, and visited, and one employee said it was a break now. Then another employee hurriedly guided us, and we were a little embarrassed.
My first meal here.amazing service. Even with autonomous food delivery carts to your table. Great alcohol selections.
I enjoyed a squid salad. Can recommend this dish. Be there very hungry.well done L V R.
Saw the bartender using the bar cloth to wipe his shoe before placing it back on the bar rack. Secondly, the 2litre jug of coke is definitely not 2l. Poured out barely 5 small cups of liquid. Thirdly, if the waitresses are gonna drop pieces of food on the table while serving, at least replenish or apologise. Felt ridiculed by the staffs excuses about the 2l jug, hope they at least take off that claim on the menu so others don’t get scammed.
The service isn't the best. The staff are not very friendly.
That aside, the food is amazing! So fresh and tasty!
Food is good however the service is really bad, asked for cooked veg, the staff said sure and never came back. Waiting to pay and the cashier let a Vietnamese lady cut through me and let her pay first and keep speaking Vietnam, no apologise and really bad service. Wouldn’t come back again I rather drive to Malaga and get better price, quality and service.
Pho is good, Shaking beef is good, but Clam is very terrible, It tastes off, I won't order it again.
Went here for lunch first time and had their Combination Pho. I would give it 3 stars as the soup had a decent amount of fat on the top which i could see ; and the cut chilli provided is not the birds eye chilli but instead the long red chilli which has no heat. It took a long time of me staring at the bar staff for anyone to come take my order. I actually almost walked out. There is a robot that brings food out to the tables, food is uncovered as customers walk past the robot and peer over, also customers sitting at tables do the same thing. I dont consider that overly hygenic but instead a gimmick
Across the road is Phong Din Vietnamese. Their Pho is 10 out of 10, very clean soup. Doesnt have the oil / fat floating on top. Overall better service and just better in every way. Probably wont return to Little Viet
I think clam is really bad, it tastes fishy, I think this dish is alive, If I could do it all over again, I would hope it was still in the ocean and not in my mouth.
I ordered takeaway, and the waiter who spoke to me was very rude and in a rush, the pho that I ordered had no flavour in the broth and the beef was extremely chewy. But large portions sizes and lovely aesthetic to the food. Wouldn’t recommend the pho
It is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in WA! You've got to try it! Really tasty food! Large serves. Great quality ingredients. Really good cooks. The menu is HUGE - extensive categories (pho, Barramundi, toothfish, clam, squid, pork, beef, chicken, whelks (snails, kids dishes, 18 vegetarian dishes.), birdsnet and more.) with many choices for each category! The flavours are complex and fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful, light and happy. Listened bar with extensive menu of beer, cider, spirits, cocktails. The staff are nice and professional. The food came out fast. I hear it's really popular for dinner and is full but on the whole service is still fast and they have robots delivering some of it. The soup broth is delicious!
The menu is quite extensive and varied and also more expensive compared with other Vietnamese restaurants around that area. Presentation of the food was excellent and generous portion as well.
Food is always good with many options. Service can be bad. Not only some waiters with language barrier but also abrupt and rude. Would recommend reserving seats especially for large group.
Awesome food, but, really rude business owner.we book for a table of 12. However, the business owner squeeze us in a table for 8. We have asked if we can swap or move to a bigger table, however, instead of giving us a reasonable reason, she just became so rude to us, causes our dining experience into a really bad moment. She even rude during the payment process as well.
Only complaint was it was so hard to choose as everything looks amazing.
I had the shaking beef with fried rice. The serve was extremely generous and taste was fantastic.
The robotic servers make for an interesting experience.
Prices good and nice atmosphere.
A casual Vietnamese restaurant.
A huge menu to choose from, such a range of food. We ordered -
Sang choybow
Vegetarian spring rolls
Goi bo - grilled beef salad
tôm nướng muối ớt - grilled Tiger Prawns
Pho Tai - beef
Com rang ga gion - crispy chicken, egg & fried rice
Prawn crackers
The beef salad and the grilled tiger prawns were the stand-out dishes of the night. A very busy, no frills restaurant.
Went in for lunch today. Wife ordered me a beef salad. Was way too salty and not fresh. Got sick real bad. Use to be my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Won’t be back again.
We’ve been chasing the ultimate crispy pancake (Banh xèo) all over the country since our beloved ‘Yellow Pancake’ restaurant in Wembley closed down about a year ago. We had a decent crispy pancake in Marrickville last week (Bay Tinh) but it was half the size and twice the price. Little Viet have done a great job of the crispy pancake. We’re so excited to find this place.
Modern decor, traditional dishes.
Don't be surprised if a robot trolley delivers your order to the table. Staff are on hand to take your order and deal with bills.
Had a bit of a mixed experience here.the restaurant is really nice and the menu has lots of interesting items on it.the noodles we had were yummy, but the other dishes were a little disappointing.
The pineapple fried rice was great, but not sure if there was msg or not? As I had the usual problems when I have msg in my food.
