Little Aussie Communities reviews
33Little Aussie Directories is an efficient and productive way to obtain information on a myriad of home based services, plus community groups and events. It's clear and concise in design and takes the legwork out searching for service providers. Thanks.
This is the first time I have looked through The Little Aussie Communities and I am so impressed! I need a few things done around the house & yard, the first is a new roller door. Thank you for this little gem of community information.
I find interesting articles in my email from Little Aussie Communities I receive each week. Information from household tips, to health, to pet advice, even recipes. Not to forget tradies and services. Great work to all at Little Aussie. Congratulations
I always enjoy the Little Aussie booklets when they arrive in the mailbox. It's great to have community based business information at your fingertips. I especially enjoy reading the handy home hints and the recipe pages.
Hi,
Please, please, please stop putting your junk "Little Aussie Communities" catalogue into my mail post box?
If you continue to do this then I have no other option, but to drive to your office and demand you stop disrespecting me.
In the event Little Aussie Communities does not:
· STOP putting their junk, trash catalog in my mail post box
then I will have little choice but to exercise my rights and remedies available to me. These rights include commencing legal proceedings.
On average, the businesses advertising at *Little Aussie Communities* offer prices for services that are 20%-25% higher than offered by comparable businesses within the corresponding area.
This is no help to communities by any means, it's just expensive advertising of average to mediocre businesses that are often on a verge of unsustainability.
It's just exploitative to the average consumer, who assumes honesty and helpfulness, purposefully and insidiously embedded in the name of this publication.
For example, one of the electricians, advertising himself under the guise of an apparently large company, provides NO FREE QUOTES and SERVICES 30% HIGHER than comparable electricians within the area.
When you call him, he just blurbs a very well-rehearsed statement that his company provides excellence in reasonably priced services to the community. When he is asked for references, he cannot provide any, as it is not customary according to him.
Also, he didn't know that an instant (continuous) 3-phase-current water flow heater is suitable and sufficient to dispense hot water even to large bathtubs, without a Jacuzzi-style water recirculating heater.
I am 76yrs.old pensionerwho rang and got a quote from mr.hocking to fix 2 leaks-from shower taps and cold water relief valve on my gas storage water heater.did not mention little ozie.got quote for $295 which i thought excessive but agreed to.i provided 2 new shower taps to be fitted.before work started the plumber confirmed thequote and then i asked for the 10% discount but was told it was already applied! I did not want to argue the point at the time.the leaks were my priority.the work took about 30 mins.and i paid the full quote to end the matter.where is the truth in advertising a discount? This was 2 weeks ago.
First class outfit.have had nothing but positive feedback from clients and they just keep coming.very happy
Great to know there's small businesses out there helping out other small businesses in need, plus not-for-profit organisations and events like ours - thanks!
I look forward to reading Little Aussie Directories for articles, events and advice! Especially now during such a unique time in the world, supporting our local businesses could not be more important! I have recently bought a slow cooker and I am going to try the slow cooked beef recipe:) Thank YOU for your service:) Kim
Little Aussie Directories is an efficient and product way to obtain information on a myriad of home based services and community groups and events. It's clear and concise in design and takes the legwork out of the extensive searching for the same. Thanks.
Little Aussies is a great directory to find local businesses. Thank you little aussie I found a great deal and an excellent carpet and couch cleaner through your booklet also some great recipes.well done to the team at little aussies
I enjoy the handy tips for gardening as well as the wonderful household tips. We have also used a number of the various repairers or plumbers and so on. The companies we have contacted through Little Aussie WA have been great. We have not used anyone recently, but those we have contacted previously, have done themselves proud. We prefer using local businesses.
I have twice used the Little Aussie Directories in the past, I know this doesn't sound like very much but I guess it depends on what's happening or what I need at the time the book arrives. I do tend to keep the books for about 6 months just in case. I have used a tile steam cleaner for my kitchen and a house gutter service to repair my gutters before.
Thank you!
Whenever I need a home maintenance of any kind I always use the Little Aussie directories /business book and have never been disappointed -very reliable, hardworking decent tradespeople
The family enjoys the tips and hints. It’s also great to have the service information at hand when needed. This month we made play dough and a time capsule.
I like the tips on different things that are on the web page like the one on cockroaches & how to use aluminium foil
An extremely useful Directory providing details of all essential local businesses, community services and clubs.
I like the size of the magazine. It is filled with lots of information and interesting facts. Great way to keep on track with local businesses, clubs, and activities. Competitions are always a great way to participate and be involved.
A few months ago I made the Coconut/Raspberry recipe listed in the "Little Aussie Directories' and it was yummy and just like my Grandmothe
r used to make. I shared some of this slice with my neighbour and their sons and you guessed it - they also downloaded the recipe and made the slice. The 'Little Aussie Directory' is creating great neighbourly chats and assists with Neighbourhood Watch. I believe in supporting my local community and with this in mind, I can assure that I always turn to my 'Little Aussie Directory' first for all information required. Love the tips, hints and recipes. Thank you
