5Nice shop, staff are friendly, its the prices. Nearly always the most expensive shop franchise around unless they have your particular product on special for that week.
If I could give zero stars I would.
Two weeks ago I had a terrible experience at this liquorland. Walking into the store we could feel a tension in the air immediately. As we made our way to the isle to look for some wine, a lady came up to me and asked for my ID in the isle. She was quite confrontational and aggressive about it, “you can’t touch anything until you show some ID”, “put the bottle down”. This was quite confusing to me because I hadn’t been asked for ID since I was 18. I am now a grown man with a full beard so I couldn’t understand her urgency to go as far as to come up to us while we were still browsing around and borderline harass us in the store. As it turned out I actually didn’t have my ID on me, so I asked if could go to my car and get it. After processing the whole event and the unnecessary aggression, we decided to take our business elsewhere. At this next store I stayed outside because my ID was still in the car and to my surprise no one was asked for ID. I hope that this is not a regular occurrence and that this can be brought to attention to those who need to hear this because I can’t help but believe this was racial charged.
Great range of drink choices, which leave the desired effect. Helpful friendly staff members who are only to too will to assist you with any questions or price checks ;) l
Wines are all broken down to single bottles, can't buy bottles in cartons
Decent stock. Friendly helpful staff. Not the most well stocked store with some lines going out of stock. Has access from outside and inside the forum.
