Liquorland Dunsborough reviews
7Oh Joanne, where do I start? Impeccable service, made me feel like I was young again which you achieved by asking for our ID’s, say hi to the kids, keep it groovy - Greta and Cam
Great service and product knowledge. Store layout is both functional and spacious. Joanna was friendly and educated.
JOANNE WAS SUPPER FRIENDLY AND ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT SHOWING AND HELPING ME WITH SELECTION OF WINE AND GIN. SHE COULD YOU UPSELL FOR SURE.
Joanne helped my find the alcohol I was requesting with a great attitude and a big smile best service ive had in a while thanks joanne
The worst Coles I've been, roast chicken too dry or is not grilled today. Coles not allow everyone to review/comment. I went to the wine cellar twice. The waiter never smiled.
Yesterday, Wednesday 4th of December between 1-1.30pm, my friend and I went into Liquorland in Dunsborough WA to purchase a 6 pack of ciders for a lunch. There were two staff behind the counter (a man and an older lady). The male staff member scanned our drinks then looked up at us, paused and asked for our ID. It was at this point that the female staff member said 'thought you were going to get away with that one didn't you? ' I handed over my ID then my card to pay, even though I was annoyed by her comment. I'm 33, which the man would've noticed if he actually looked at my ID properly. He asked to see my friend's ID too. FYI she is 26. She didn't have it with her, so he then refused to serve either of us! I told her to leave so that I could buy them without her there. He said 'nup, still can't serve you. ' I said 'fine, we'll go somewhere else! ' We ended up going to Dunsborough Cellars. They were welcoming, friendly and the same pack of ciders were in fact a few dollars cheaper. Together with my circle of friends, l will always shop there from now on. I completely understand refusal of serving people without ID but I had mine and I am 33 YEARS OLD! If I was there with more mature aged adults who were buying and I didn't have my ID, would they refuse to serve them? I doubt it! I was judged on how I looked. I had fully complied with his request, but it wasn't enough for these two. It was a situation that I found humiliating and frustrating!
