6 This week I walked into Liquorland, Boulder as a tired, worn out, grumpy and thirsty girl from the outback. I left Liquorland that day the exact same, except, this time, also without my driver's licence.
You see, I had accidentally left my driver's license behind instore, and didn't realize until my plane had landed on the other side of the country. In a moment of hazy panic, I called Liquorland and was greeted by the most helpful and caring employee I could have ever hoped for. His name was Ben. Even though I didn't have my driver's licence, I did unexpectedly have my faith in humanity restored!
Without hesitation, Ben went above and beyond to find my ugly mug on my license and post it to me on his own dime. He didn't have to do it, but he did it anyway, with a smile and a genuine concern for my situation. His kindness and generosity were truly heartwarming, and they reminded me that there are still superstar, warm fuzzy, bright and sparkly people in this world.
So, to Ben and the rest of the team at Liquorland Boulder, thank you for being those kind of knights in shining armour you read about in the children's fairytale books. And to anyone looking for a place to shop for their adult beverages, I can't recommend Liquorland enough. They have amazing employees like Ben who go out of their way to help others, and that kind of service is truly priceless. Give the man a raise, or a free beer, or a hug atleast! He's a keeper. His mother should be proud of him!
What can you say they sell drinks but they do it bloody well, employees are very nice and do their job well

If you have to communicate with R_-_k, best to go to any of the other 2 branches - Hannans Coles & Brookman St. (Hay St.) This branch has lost the Customer Service touch, which was always perceived as touch 'n go with 'R', now confirmed.
Smaller than the average bottle shop, so has a limited range to choose from. Makes up for that with convenient location and good service.
