7 Went to buy a cheap bottle of cooking wine and was denied service because I didn’t have my driver’s license to prove my age. I had my WWCC card (has my photo and DOB) and explained that I only had a temporary license because my driver’s license is being changed into my married name. I’m very clearly NOT under the age of 18 and in fact am in my mid-20s. I see in the reviews that this is a recurrent problem with this Liquorland. Go after the real criminals lying about their ages!
I have never had good experiences here. Also, they never have what I want in stock and terrible service. So disappointed and unsatisfied. Will definitely stick with BWS.
Tried to go and buy some alcohol for Christmas and got treated like I was stealing from one particular employee, the manager David was helpful and got a carton for me from the back, the second employee Jill I approached to get a bottle of tequila and she walked to the counter after handing all the other customers their items walked straight behind with mine so I felt discriminated against because of my nationality
Bad experience. Tried to buy 2 bottles of beer 33cl, the lady didn't accepted my Australian driver license because I came in with my wife and but she left to do shopping on Coles I had to back there take her ID but she only had her Manager ID picture and date of birth. They didn't accepted as well, HUMILIATION in front of other costumers. Also called Liquorland headquarters to make a complaint, they told me that they would call me back to follow up the situation. Deplorable way of treating their guests, I didn't have to buy from you guys! I went other shop and was no problem.:)
Could not buy two bottles of Cider for looking “too young”. As an international student, our form of ID is a passport. I attempted using a valid working with children check which has a clear picture of my face, dob and name. Humiliating experience when you have 4 other customers spectating - not coming back.
