11Supposed to open until 7pm on Sundays. Turned up at 6.40pm to buy a bottle of bubbly for Mother’s Day dinner and they were shut. This has happened plenty of times before, but today I was extra annoyed!
There's been a big change at Liquorland Bayswater. Previously there was a lovely Italian family that owned this business and, for a couple of decades, I have ordered online and my husband has picked up. However, there is a new officiousness at this store. I sent my driver's licence along with a signed declaration that my husband could collect our order. He'd done so before without consequences. However, this time no, sorry, even with your wife's license and signature, we refuse you to pick up your order. We're now using the Maryland's store.
Meant to open at 10.00, msg on door that solo staff member in toilet, waited until 10.15 and left. Try to support my local businesses but went elsewhere. Gave one star for being local and one star because I have never given one star.
Definitely not the best liquorland in the world but it does the job and the staff are always friendly. The wine selection is decent, but I just wish they had better cider selections.

Randomly closed…5: 30 pm Monday night…closed. No note or explanation. This is the second night in a row. Very disappointed. Not unexpected though as this has appended before and often closes earlier than stipulated…not reliable!
Thank Christ it has gone back to normal after seeing 4 weeks people at the front of the shop one lady older lady nearly crying couldn't get her alcohol but I assisted we helped but yeah it's ok now it's getting better
Few harsh reviews down here about staff attitudes and range issues, I've never experienced any issues shopping here from either front and have found the staff to be friendly and helpful many times
I wish they'd spend some money on the building. The appearance is kind of offensive in this era.
Great if you like warm beer and never asked for Flybuys, attitude from staff is pretty unfriendly, sometimes closed @3.30 for apparently 10 minutes, Maylands is so much better, wouldn't recommend this store
