Liquor Barons Marmion

This review is long overdue. Have been coming here regularly for the past 3 years. Their prices are awesome and their range even better. They always have something new and interesting to try. Big shoutout to Matt, the place wouldn’t be what it is without him. After getting to know him he always points me in the right direction when something new comes in the store, never had a bad recommendation from him and is always good for a laugh and a joke. A real asset to the store and a true reason why I shop here. Nate give the man a raise!

Fantastic local bottle shop! They have a great range of beer and wine at completive prices. I have always found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly to deal with. Highly recommend.

Went to this store as it was close by. Found the worker on duty was rude and didn’t know the liquor they sold. He sold me a complete
Incorrect wine which my wife sent me in for. When asked if they would price match as a carton of certain beer was much cheaper elsewhere the staff members reply was “sorry we don’t do that” I then advised him he has then lost out on a sale. His reply was “ oh well we don’t care”. All in all save your money and shop elsewhere. Other places will give you a much better price and no attitude even when the liquor is not on sale.

Good craft beer range and service. Growler and squealer prices have increased astronomically compared to a few years ago though, and are much higher than any other NOR bottleshop

Awesome local bottle shop. I purposely go out of my way to purchase from this shop. The range is awesome for beer and wines in particular and the staff are always really nice too. Keep up the awesome work.

Great work Nathan! My wife found her 3 favourite white wines in one shop! How good is that? NZ Baby Doll SB, Cowaramup's Miles from Nowhere SBS and Margaret River's Deep Woods Ivory SSB. Well done and I hope they sell well so that you keep up the stock. Cheers

Bought a bottle of La Sirene beer, and was the most revolting thing I’ve ever drunk, and expensive, disgusting smell and taste. Didn’t answer the phone so I could have a good moan.

Went back and Paul apologised for phone issue and talked me through the Saison, and have given me a new beer to try. Great response team! Five stars now.

Friendly knowledgeable staff for every type of beverage. You would think this place has 4 or 5 different owners the way the staff take pride in their work.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Been a few times and have never been disappointed. Also have taps to fill growlers and squealers!
