Took my car to Lehman's to get a Quote check wiring loom. I advised I had diagnostic report short to ground. Lehman's had my car for a week ignored all instructions, charged me $350.00, $85 for another diagnostic report, no work completed.

I booked in for aircond check as it wasn't cold enough imo, they said they could gas it but had found some aluminum filings in the system and it would be advisable to replace compressor and condenser, i asked for a maximum cost to which he put $2000, car was booked in for work, they had the car for the week, when i went to pay the bill was over $2500, i reminded him of the agreed max price and he re-invoiced just over $2000, i took the car home, i noticed the next day that the aircond was worse than before it went in for the repairs, i took it back and they booked it back in, they had the car for another week, every time i rang for an update the lady taking the calls told me he was busy and would ring back, he never did, when i arrived on the friday afternoon to get an update he said he was to busy to return my inquiry calls.they replaced the compressor with a different make and model and it works, car was returned filthy, dirt and grease all over inside and out, I lifted the bonnet the next morning to look at the rest of their work, 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the compressor in place were finger tight. The aircond blows continually into the passenger side footwell, i had another company look at the problem as i had given up on Leamans and it turns out leamans forgot to reinstall a piece of duct that diverts the air.

Very prompt, awesome customer service, great knowledge and very thorough. Very fairly priced too.

Ignore the bad reviews. All electrical work seems expensive and is far more prone to hiccups than mechanical work. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and sensible with their work.

Absolute pathetic workmanship, no pride in their work. Had to send my car back in to fix the stuff ups they made the week prior to only get it back to more pathetic workmanship. Absolutely devastated on the job that’s been done on my car. 100% wouldn’t recommend to anyone, go elsewhere!

Had a rep come to my work and start yelling and abusing my fellow co workers to sign and pay up front for a deal.complained about being on commission being the reason why he was so pushy.unacceptable don't use this establishment unlessed you wanna be pushed into dogy deals

I had 2 other elecs work on my trailer lights cost me a packet and still had issues with the lights. I found Leamans via Google and took my trailer there. I spoke to Alan and felt he was genuine and he gave me a better quote than past paid for no result. My trailer was rewired within a few hours and now works perfect, as it should do. I have delayed writing a review for a month just to ensure all keeps working. Gotta say the service from Alan was excellent and friendly - NO B/s and price wise I did not feel gouged, quite happy instead. Thank You Alan!

UPDATE MAY 2020

My car would not start, no ignition power, had it towed to Leamans and asked for help as I needed the car urgent for work. The guys worked on my car ASAP and searched for the problem; unfortunately for me whilst the problem was a simple Repair it was also a very obscure one and was hard to find, causing the guys to spend hours searching for the problem. BUT they did find the problem, fully documenting for my understanding. Overall not a cheap fix for me BUT at least their professionalism FOUND the problem and fixed it. NOW I can drive my car with confidence and got my car back in time for work.

Leamans Auto Elec Belmont is my Choice of repair for my vehicle!

Michael and Steve are very knowledgable. I took my 2018 Prado to the dealership three times before I went to Leamans. Dealership doesn't have a clue what the problem is. Michael and Steve fixed the car in just 1.5 hours while I was waiting there. Strongly recommend!

Horrible!
Came in with a minor problem and went home with 367 dollars bill, without fixing the problem and with a new problem in the car that they caused when they tried to fix the first one. So do yourself a favor and don't even think about taking your car there. After that we went to Chamberlain's auto electrical and they fixed it in 30 minutes.

Couldn't ask for better service. Friendly and knowledgeable, all without costing an arm and a leg.
