Langley Park reviews
48Beatiful park. Good view of the city. Diwali function was held there. Lots of parking availabile in the grounds which wouldn't show in the map. Often when there are functions the ground is used for parking.
The park being on the river side makes it so relaxing, calm and beautiful. I visited this Park to attend a Diwali mela 2023. This was my first time being here and I never expected it to be so awesome. At times I even forgot I was in Australia. There was a huge list of things we could explore right starting from gaming stalls, culture stage, cloth, jewelry stalls and last but not the least a huge collection of food stalls. And at the end an eye sparkling fireworks display.
No words to explain the park nor the event. Totally mind blowing.
There are parking lots spread on sidewalk of the park.
Overall experience Superb
Went to the Perth Garden and Outdoor Festival. Langley Park is the perfect location for this event as it is easily accessible by pubic transport as well as by car. Good, well-signposted parking on site.
Attended Perth Garden Festival but not impressed with the venue. A bit too far to walk and no free parking. Venue is not conducive to older generation. Not that many nurseries on display.
Enjoyed the Garden Festival with a friend. Lots of displays and the stunning landscaped gardens gave us lots of ideas what we could do or see what might work at our place.
Enjoyed it very much. Interesting mix of garden stalls, Ag products, Arty shops, Coffee n food vans, etc. The free golf- shuttle was worth catching as my car was parked nearly 1km away.
Went to a garden expo. Great position between the river and the city. A lot of events are held there.
Perth Garden Show. A week late and some larger displays were showing signs of fatigue.
Terrible, slow queue for parking, needs to improve.
Give yourself 3hrs to see everything, don't forget your trolly truck for purchases. There is drive through pickup for items also.
Perth Garden Show, not impressed, too many garden ornaments and unrelated "stuff", not enough garden. Give it a miss this year.
Today we visited The Langley Park with our grandson to celebrate Australia Day. Everything was excellent organised, enough shaded areas to rest, eat and watch kids playing. The only thing which was spoiling the good time was luck of free parking. There was enough space in surrounding areas for that purpose.
Otherwise big thank you to the organizers.
It's very clean and spacious park to play especially for kids. Good view on the city through the swan river and sky building.
Beautiful and calm. What a classy view of Perth city.
I miss my wife, we would definitely come together on this spot very soon.
Lovely view of the skyline, not a lively park however around 18. Good for a run/ bike ride or a romantic strall.
Fireworks, OK. Seemed further away on city side than last years fireworks which seemed closer. Seemed more like a picture show than being there.
It's a lively place.
Really big
Good for a playing, running or just chilling in the sun.
There are two big sheds in between but shade is scarce here, so plan your picnics keeping that in mind.
The lake is awesome and there's plenty of parking available. In short, a good place to chill around on weekends. There are usually some fun events happening here every weekend most of which are free.
An under rated Perth icon. Not many places in the world can say they have an esplanade as pretty as this one. Is a gem at any time of the day, any day of the year and free.
Lovely place to take a stroll in a green open space park hemmed in by the city tall buildings on one side and the gentle expanse of the Swan river on the other
Massive park by mighty Swan River where many events are hosted in Perth City. Also ideal for relaxation. Worth spending time with self, family or love ones
It's definitely a great place to view the fireworks with your family and relax your heart. The pictures were captured by my friend, Sam in Australian day night.
