Lakeside Camping reviews
34 Very well maintained campsite with lovely local caretaker who lives on site.
The lakeside campsites are well done, with fire pits and bench seating along it.
Facilities and bathrooms are clean and pretty modern compared to most camp sites.
Power boats allowed out on the water.
Not very close to any other amenities or towns so pack well.
Absolutely love this place, superb facilities, warm showers, very well kept.
Amazing camping and skiing on the lake with a nice fire pit at night.
Absolutely amazing spot, you definitely need a boat to ski but the sites are lovely and the caretakers are very nice and answer any question you could have. The toilets are well maintained and electricity is provided onsite. Definitely recommend!
Relaxing, great place to unwind. Speed boats are not mindful of others, can get choppy in kayaks when boats come near even difficult standing on a paddle board. Sometimes speed boaters need to be mindful of others. Nice place, been to better. Water carries some bad bacteria if swallowed. Don't swallow water. Make sure you read the sign board.
Huge sites great for family gatherings such as ours. Right on the water. Don't submerge as water but best quality. Lake great for kayak but speed boats arghh very VERY noisy way too early starting 6/7am and as someone else said not mindful at all of other lake users. Great care takers took our kids in the ute brought us a spare fridge just lovely, so nice. We're going back this year.
Great place inland. Very magical spot. The owners r top class. Very helpful and accommodative. Have been here 2 times and will be back soon again. Book in advance atleast 4 to 6 weeks before. Always pre booked during holidays coz its a top spot.
Fantastic camping at the lake. What a spot for people that have got a ski boat.
Awesome big camp spots, so there’s plenty of room for the bigger rigs too. Looks like dogs are allowed too.
Just make sure you have an “insect plan”. At dusk the moth/fly things were so intense that they added plenty of protein to our dinner.
It’s also a nice walk around the lake.
Toilet blocks are tired but they do the job.
Thanks for a nice stay
Great little spot huge sites for multi family stay.
Bring your own drinking water as none available for connecting to your site.
Apart from that good family spot by lake with water sports etc.
Large grassy literally beach front sites north facing lake views where I sail my kayak view the bird life.total rural peace. Fantastic night sky by all year fire pit. My favourite
Always an awesome visit with a homely feel. Great for kids to explore nature.
Good old school ski lake!
Lovely view. Excellent facilities. Good price. Fantastic hosts. And cool fire pit with wood for a cheap price.
Dream camping and waterskiing spot. We have been going here for years and it is a wonderful escape. Amenities include toilets, showers, large camp kitchen for hire, eftpos payment, small lolly shop with daily ice for eskies! Caretakers and owners are wonderful, caring and helpful. Always enjoy our week away at Lake Towerinning. Thanks
Stopped by hear on the way back to Perth, awesome camp ground even without a boat. Family and pet friendly, 2wd accessible, fair amount of space for caravans, or big tents and awnings. Many powered sites available with fire pits.
Great spot, big sites, friendly hosts, just be aware this is a ski lake and you'll have a great time.
Wonderful spot on the lake, scenic, has all the facilities you might need. Well managed and maintained.
It very nice and secluded
Best if you have a boat or enjoy water sports
Facilities need an upgrade but are ok
We enjoyed our fee days there
Can be very cold at night so bring a big coat
Great camping and huge sites. Watching skiers by the lake, caretaker very helpfull and the owners even put the AFL grand final on. Well managed.
Awesome place to camp or bring your caravan. There's a boat ramp to put your boat in and go skiing. And a few bush walks around
Great get away, the biggest site.
Allows for a few families to have a great time around the fire
Amazing place to camp. Will definitely be back. Nice clean toilets and showers. Quiet and always friendly people around. The caretakers are amazing and will do anything to make your time more enjoyable
