Lakelands Chinese Restaurant

Been coming here for 20 years but the last two times have been an utter disappointment and will not be back. Ordered 4 dishes. They came out 20 minutes apart.

Food was disgusting.always go there but not any more.staff needs improving.service bad.will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

Dined at this restaurant 2 weeks ago on a midweek evening. We ordered the 5 course meal @ $38.00 per person.
The soup tasted like it came out of a can of corn with bits of meat added. Heavy and tasteless. The spring rolls were ok.the chicken meal was tasteless with boiled chicken and canned vegetables. The lamb fried meal was sizzling but had also a funny taste. Last was a scoop of store bought ice cream. I asked how long the lady who was the proprietor

Worst takeout meal we've ever had, the Chicken Chow Mein was half cooked and had a very gluggy jelly around it. The Mango Chicken was also half cooked, with very little chicken (but LOTS of onions) in the container. Was hoping to support local business but we won't be back.

Used to be the best Chinese around. Now I won't even buy it. Don't know wether they changed cook or not.
Ok when go in for lunch but my takeaway has just been terrible. Mushy.

Rang and placed an order at 5: 15am for it to be picked up at 6: 30pm. I have been sitting here, waiting for 33mins.

Won't be back.

My first experience with Lakelands Chinese was 10 minutes ago and I can not speak highly enough, an absolute pleasure eating their fresh and perfectly cooked cuisine

The food is not too authantic, sauce seems like coming from the bottle, out from shelf. Will recommend the owner to make their own sauce. Their food do have 'wok-hei' and the meats/seafoods are juicy. Hope to improve their menu as well. Like signature dishes should have photo, it is hard to put imagination (eg salty peppers pork chop. I thought it serve as a big piece like steak.hahaha). Staff are friendly.

Lakelands Chinese Restaurant has the best Chinese food and the prices are low. I have never had Chinese food as good as this restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good Chinese restaurant.

Worst Chinese, been coming for years but tonight something has changed. New owners? Don't recommend

We just ordered food through Uber Eats. Unfortunately we had to throw most away. I had the BBQ pork Fried Roce and there was more salt than rice. I hope this is a once off mistake, but I'm certainly not ordering from here again.sorry, but very very ordinary.

Best Chinese around you get the smoky flavour off the wok very nice, never been upset in any way great food this place will rock your world!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Very fresh tasty food and reasonably priced. Restaurant is clean and tidy, and the lady behind the counter is always friendly. Shame they don’t offer a delivery service I would probably order more often haha

Delicious lunch, good serving sizes. Quiet, only patrons at two tables. Decided on the lunch dishes. Hot is palatable to my Indian friend

Love this place we have been coming here for so many years, unfortunately the prices have gone up very slowly but now we have really noticed so much that it may have to be one of our last Times

Moved out of the area 7 years ago and still drive 20 minutes for it. Our local Chinese restaurants just don't compare. Food is 5 star

Meals were served promptly after ordering and lovely service was pleasant professional great night out will be back

I had ordered three meals, one meal had a blowfly in it the. I approached the owner and she said that I could not prove that it came from there. No refund was given. Very disappointed in the service, health department have been informed

Always great food, fresh, reasonably priced and doesn't have the shrinking container syndrome that many others do.

Resturant sucks, the take aways good. Came into the resturant the other day for the first time with my girlfriend. Food was ok, nothing to rave on about, seriously though how the hell can people rate this place 5 stars. Obviously you come from armadale. The resturant is old, run down and dirty. The curtains have food on them, the ceiling has water stains, the napkin and table cloth on the table we sat at were both dirty. The place needs gordan ramsey to come in and do a make over and simplify the menu.
We did not realise because we normally get take away but they charge you more for sitting in the resturant. We ordered 3 meals and 2 cans of coke which came to $70! Sooo good for take away but waayy over priced for sitting in.
Sorry for the bad review, because i generally enjoy the take away from you guys.
