Lake Seppings Bird Walk reviews
17This is my daily walk and I can choose to walk past the multitude water birds, or into the groves to look for various types of wrens including the hard to find Red Winged Fairy Wren.
This walk can be very muddy and lots of puddles in wet weather and sometimes you cannot walk all the way around because the water level has risen. But it's great for seeing birdlife and quite scenic especially at sunset. Recommend it in drier months as much more enjoyable.

Love walking through this place with my dog. It feels like another world as you wander under a canopy of trees with only the sounds of birds and frogs and the wind in the trees. Pick your time though because if there has been a lot of rain the paths get flooded. Also the warmer months bring with them the danger of snakes, there is lots of food for them there!
Good for walking and bird watching. The track has been very wet in some sections for a few weeks.
If you are looking for a nice easy walk then this is the place to do it. Lovely wooded area at the start, plenty of bird watching opportunities. Wide walkway suitable for prams and walking two abreast.
I love this walk, it allows me to feel like there is no one else around even though it is in a very busy part of the city.
It's a beautiful spot for a short walk, very serene and relaxing. Plenty of birds for birdwatchers. The bird hide is worth a visit.
This place is a service station for migrating birds and also an example of the damage environmental weeds can do to habitat - take a walk around and you will see this happening. We have a responsibility to preserve these places, because one-day those birds will not return, they will of staved. Like they have in other systems -
We enjoyed walking around the lake looking at many species of birds (on the lake and land). It takes you through a variety of interesting habitats. Albany is lucky to have such a great wetland.
A good place to relax and enjoy the lake and walk around the bird walk and everything else around the place and the Bush and the peace of mind
I like to walk under the trees. The track is very close to a main road yet is hidden. The water has a timeless quality yet around in the plants are written the temporal and very recent epochs. The trend towards anonymity conformity and no risk snaps at its edges. Even more pristine areas still linger yet under threat from the dead men walking.
If you like walking you will like going on a long walk to experience the the lake and the wildlife and the birds The peace around the place. Good tracks and seating well Mark trails and good parking spot for the car
Amazing greenery and walkway. There were more than 50 ducklings in the middle of the lake all in a group guarded by 2 ducks on ether side.
Fantastic nature walk in a 3 km circuit around the lake. Birdwatchers paradise with many species abundant and an observation hide on the northern side of the lake. Lots of other wildlife for the observant walker too. Beware of snakes late September through November when they are breeding. Easy walk but floods hamper access August, September
Michaela missed put on excursion here because she was sick I feel so bad that I didn't take her personally when she was better before she was stolen
View all things that fly, swim and creep about freshwater Lake Seppings from this encircling walk trail and boardwalk. Carpark and grassed gathering place for group walkers on Golf links Road. With or without binoculars, this is a wonderful window into nature.
