Lake Argyle Resort

Obviously an amazing location.

The resort however needs some money spent. The TV in the room didn't work, A/C was blowing hot air, very limited food options.

Would recommend only one night here unless you are properly provisioned.

Beware! If booking the stunningly located lake view cabins - the upgraded rooms are fabulous just like the pictures- the non upgraded rooms are nowhere near as nice. Unfortunately our Air Con wasn’t working and we were “upgraded” to a 2 bedroom one.
I really don’t think the lovely lady who upgraded us realised how different they are - when you work somewhere for a while you cease to see things with the eyes of visitor. View is stunning, pool is spectacular if isn’t full of kids!

Lovely campsite. Individual toilets and showers, super clean. Unpowered sites have water hook up. Pool was of course lovely and the evening entertainment was brilliant.

Stayed for 2 nights here in the deluxe cabin. Unfortunately we felt a little underwhelmed with the resort/park. Most specifically the infinity pool was very unclean, murky water with bugs, where we couldn’t see our feet. We got out of the pool almost straight away. One night here would have been enough with the limited activities nearby.
Disappointing considering how far we travelled and the cost of a room. The stay was good overall because of the views, however the infrastructure etc overdue an upgrade.

How good was this place! I think it the best discovery resorts we have stayed at. Heaps to do, really enjoyed it.

We had a large van site, with plenty of shade, close to everything. The staff are great, the resort has a lovely relaxed feel, and beer garden is a great spot to meet new friends. We loved our time here and I recommend taking a sunset cruise, wad a definite highlight.

Stunning place to relax. Resort cabins are clean, well maintained but sparse in cooking facilities so be sure to take some extras utensils if you plan to self cater (a decent knife, large pot etc). Excellent place to discover the lake, fish, canoe or just chill in the infinity pool.

Stay at the resort was excellent. Cabin was clean and had a modern feel. The view from the pool was first class and the customer service provided by the big fella at reception was the cherry on top.

Fabulous location. 2 bedroom lodge was amazing with balcony overlooking the lake and sunset lit cliffs

This resort is stunning. It's a must stay just for the infinity pool alone. The restaurant is incredibly high quality, with delicious, well cooked and healthy meals available.

I would highly recommend staying in the villas and I would HIGHLY recommend a boat tour of Lake Argyle.

A good experience in terms of views you will have once you’re in this place however their customer service is poor.

Got in late, reception was closed and I was directed to the bar. 3 staff in the middle of their dinner rush, took a little bit of time to get sorted but it was all OK in the end. Took the dogs to the bar to arrange for them to be looked after while we on a cruise the next day. The staff were brilliant to the point of offering a bag of ice for the big dog who was feeling the heat.

Nice cabins. Poorly stocked shop. Expensive meals which are average but service is quick and friendly. Lunch time cruise was very nice.

I had such a wonderful stay at this resort. I stayed four nights in one of the standard cabins available. The cabin was very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed: fridge, stovetop, aircon etc. Also this resort has stunning views over the Lake with a couple of great little hikes you can do to stellar vantage points to marvel at the surrounds. But what made this stay so nice was the staff. They are all so lovely, so friendly and just genuinely delightful people to converse with. They made my stay that much better and I can’t thank them enough. We need more people like that in the world. 10/10 will be visiting again next time I head west

Nice place to visit, although 1 night would have been more than enough for us not 2.
Nice park with a great view from the pool which unfortunately got closed early due to some required maintenance. Would have rated higher if the staff were a little nicer. Not sure what's happened to good old customer service, but it appears some people shouldn't work in customer service. A smile and hello would have been nice? Maybe just having a bad day?

Probably one of the best spots in Australia. The dinner cruise with Renee and Dave was awesome.
But the plCe is looking tired and run down. Reception area is very tired and out dated nothing to buy in so called shop.
Toilets showers very good but just tidy it up pay attention to water taps and power points for example.

Staff at Reception were friendly. Pool was lovely. We stayed at the caravan park. Needs alot of work especially at $70 per night.

If you come here because you have seen the clever marketing and the photo of the infinity pool then expect some grand pool then that’s not what you will find. What you will find is a nice little pool that provides a great outlook and it’s very pleasant to keep cool. Caravan sites are a bit squeezy but ok just depends if you get unlucky with bad neighbours who don’t respect your space. So overall it’s a nice park but the price is a bit out there and it is somewhere we would only ever come once/ oh and the beer and wine prices are like a boutique Perth pub stupidly high prices.

The views are sublime. You never know who you’ll find in the Infinity Pool and why not swim in the Lake with the 40,000 odd freshies

What a spot!
Really, really love the camping sites.and the facilities that support it!
We were there during a big swim event, and they managed to make the place run like a VERY well oiled machine. The crowd, however was the reason the experience wasn't a five star one.
I reckon that camp on that lake is a must for travelling expereiences of Australia. IMHO!
