Lagoon Yallingup reviews
36 Extremely disappointed with the service. We arrived for breakfast at 9am, got our coffees and placed an order. At 10.10am we were still waiting for our meals while people around us (who arrived after us) were getting theirs. Our order was missed and instead of it being placed as a priority, it ended up at the end of the queue.
A staff member did not acknowledge the delay at first and attempted to dismiss my comments. All staff should be trained in customer service.
The best coffee and yummy food, we loved sitting in the cafe and enjoying the atmosphere the team have created, I would recommend this to anyone.
Nice food but seriously over priced for what you get. The menu details do not necessarily match what is presented on the plate. Yes the location commands a premium but seriously!
We stopped in for breakfast before walking some of the cape to Cape. Food was delicious and different to most menus.
My coffee had unfortunately gone cold by the time we went to leave, and upon asking for it to be zapped inthe microwave, the staff made me fresh one all together. Great service. (Now don't go stealing this idea to get extra coffees!)
Such a delicious breakfast! We went for Mothers Day and can not fault a thing. Normally on Mothers Day cafe's and restaurants can look flustered but Lagoon was so calm and seamless. We didn't have to wait for anything and the staff were super friendly. My husband said it was the best bacon and egg's he has ever eaten - the seasoning was perfection! We will definitely be back!
We had a delicious anniversary lunch here a yesterday and we couldn’t have been happier. The restaurant was very quiet but the chef put on a show of perfection with the feed me menu. Everything was outstanding! We will be back. Thank you for such a lovely meal.
I usually don't go out of my way to give a bad review however I am so irritated having left this very overrated and overpriced restaraunt feeling so nauseous after only tasting my meal. My husband and I enjoy trying new restaraunts and don't mind paying for good food, but this was a total waste of money for what you get! We love Yallingup and we're excited to try this restaurant after reading one or two goos reviews-but never again. The fish was dry and the sauce tasted like egg!
All I can say is CUSTARD CROISSANTS. The pastry was buttery, soft and perfectly flakey with a delish custard filling. Indulging my sweet tooth further I followed the pasty with the apple crumble french toast. All balanced out with a great cup of coffee. You can't go wrong here.
What a wonderful restaurant.
The food and service excellent.
Owner fantastic and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
The menu is fabulous and flavours wonderful.

A superb seafood menu and surprisingly impressive wine list featuring some of the region's museum wines. Service was rushed, but friendly.
Food good but the price of the wines were ridiculous. We paid $58.00 for the cheapest red on menu. Same wine at Dan Murphys $23.00.
Food was not up to standard. The Acai bowl was inedible- too cold. Scrambled egg was dry and too well done. Poached eggs were too hard. There were no salt and pepper on the table.
Very unfriendly host. Not a smile.
Will not visit again.
Got the snack box for 2. @ $50. Prawns were average. Not de-headed and had poo tube in.fish dried out. Calamari was tough. But chips were ok. Salad was a disappointment. Wait time was way too long for only customer. Drinks are the only saving grace.
Head chef Ben and his team are amazing!
The lunch menu is fantastic and also great for people chasing gluten free options.
A stunning setting that caters for everyone! Whether your after casual dining, takeaway options, birthday lunches or tour group bookings, I highly recommend Lagoon as the service is outstanding every time.
Outstanding dining experience. The food was exceptional. An amazing menu and great friendly service.
Horrible service, my friend was turned away from the restaurant by the chef saying “do you know what type of food we serve here mate”, checkout lady got our order wrong twice then proceeded to argue with us as if we didn’t know what we ordered.once we finally clarified what we wanted and paid the difference they proceed to bring out the wrong thing, by this time they had closed their windows so we couldn’t even change.don’t recommend
The worst fish and chips love had ever! Tough fish that l couldn’t even cut. Batter wouldn’t stick, dry chips. For $27.50 l expecti it to be delicious
Amazing food: I had the Sardines for starters and the local fish. All perfectly cooked.
Very friendly staff. Perfect Lunch!
We come here regularly and are never dissatisfied. They do a wonderful job of delivering beautiful food time after time even under the pressure of staff shortages.
Had to come back the next day! The food is incredible & perfect portion size, the service is fantastic too - great value and highly recommend!
