La Gustosa Restaurant

We celebrated a birthday with dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly. We all enjoyed the food and left nothing for them to scrape off the plates but the mussel shells.

Didn't make a large order. Our request to turn the heater on was refused because "her gas bill was too high". Well lady, works both ways! Expensive, unfriendly.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Both dishes were very tasty & deliver piping hot & ready to eat. Spaghetti marinara was really good, big prawns & pieces of fish along with calamari & mussels in a very nice tomato based sauce. Penne arrabbiata was also good but maybe a little light on with the sausage & olives which we did ask them to add. But overall a really good first order & will be back again

Great little restaurant, good portion sizes, sat outside as can get noisy inside, lovely staff.

I ordered the carbonara gnocchi and the chicken scaloppine, the price of them both was way too expensive for the small portion we got, it also looked nothing like the photo.

Very nice little local restaurant. The staff were lovely and friendly. The chilli mussels, arancini and squid was delicious so we very happy.

I had the best penne arrabiata ever!
This restaurant is very popular. Like many other restaurants it is a little noisy.
The food and service is great, hence the popularity.

Last minute decision to stop for dinner and all the meals were very good!
The home made gnocchi dishes were superb and the Linguine Gustosa was brilliant and loaded with quality seafood.
Highly recommend trying it out!

I’m very disappointed about there service. We ordered pasta carbonara for takeaway but there’s no cheese and no taste in carbonara. They just put some mushrooms and sliced bacon. It’s not worth for $22. That’s our first & last visit. 0 stars

Once again we had a lovely Italian lunch. Chicken Marsala was so tasty. Chicken oh so tender. Chicken Scallopini was enjoyed. Finished off with tiramisu which melted in my mouth and coffee. I have never been disappointed. Well done guys

Contrary to some reviews, our family had a fantastic dinner, every meal was excellent. Was a bit noisy only because it was busy, so it must be popular! Hard to find better pasta

Extremely disappointed with our order of Prawn Gnocchi and Vodka Penne. 5 prawns in a $28 dish, ripoff. Delivery person didn't even bother to ring the doorbell so our order sat on the doorstep getting cold till we checked just after the supposed delivery time. Won't be using Uber Eats again and not ordering from La Gustosa again. Disappointing after having previously enjoyed meals there dine-in

The first time I ate here was over a year ago I was away from the area for awhile and since I decided to return to greenwood I decided to eat here again I ordered the bacon and mushroom carbonara as I did the first time the service was just as I remember quick service and decent wait time but that’s where the praise ends I don’t know what happened if the owners changed or just a bad night but the pasta was some how both soggy and undercooked there was little to no sauce or flavour outside of oil and my biggest disappointment was looking down towards the end quarter to see nearly an equal amount of oil congealing at the other end it tasted almost as oily and now it finally made sense why my meal lacked flavour in place was an oil bath or a one way trip to the hospital i hope this was just a bad one time slip up and I was simply unlucky

Had the chicken risotto tonight and it had a spice in that wasn’t before and a yellow colour to it.

Delicious! We had the spaghetti aglio e olio and the linguine vongole, and it was fantastic. We are so pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of a restaurant
