La Calabria / Ciao Amore Cafe & Restaurant reviews
44 The Big Breakfast from this place tasted great. It was only 21 dollars and it was a fairly big plate.
Eggs on Toast also good. 12.50.
Spaghetti Bolognaise for a Kid was well cooked. 12.50 I think.
Coffee from this place also good.
Consider that this place also serves Italian food. It takes time to prepare. What this means is if someone before you had ordered Italian food, the time for your food to come out will be longer than those places that just does breakfast
The vegetarian panini and the burguer were delicious. Excellent food and fair prices. Will come back!
We had a great experience here at Ciao Amore restaurant. The lemon pepper calamari was amazing and the young lady who served my daughter was incredible and an asset to the restaurant! Just Saying.
I am really fussy when is comes to Italian. I have tried alot of places and I would have to say this would have to be the best place I have got from. Have not tried the pizzas yet but if the pasta is anything to go by they should be great. The sizes of the meals are very generous and the prices are reasonable as well.
Ordered Big Banana Milkshake and guess what, there's only half of it in the cup. Not even worth the price
We tried this little hidden gem tonight, and by far the best arancini and gnocchi. Simply, loved it guys. Keep it up.
Food was really nice
Services was good.
Atmosphere can be improved.
Overall very good experience.
I had the pleasure of taking my family out to dinner tonight to CIAO AMORE restaurant which was recommended to me by our friends that had been there many time before and encouraged us to go there also. The food was fresh, hot and amazing, the portion sizes were very generous and the price was very affordable. We ordered the Pizza's and Chicken Parmigiana which I think was the best we have ever had. For sweets we had The sweet Pizza Calzoni which was to die for. I will highly recommend Ciao Amore for service, price and quality, we
will be going back there again and again
Thank you for a enjoyable night
The food has taken 1.5 hours to arrive. Unbelievable. Seems the only priority are the food delivery people like UBER EATS ETC.really in shock. Still waiting for food. They probably should have offered us some complimentary garlic bread or peanuts. 1 hour 40 mins now Well done to some incredibly hard working staff.
First time here for dinner since they change the owner. The shop start from breakfast hours till dinner time. Foods are good, staff very attentive and friendly. Price reasonable in a good portion. Will back again.
Good customer service & open until late.
Nice coffee & selection of cakes.
Menu looked good at reasonable prices.
Clean & tidy.
Appalling prices and appalling effort of cooking from the chef. Paid $55 for two omelettes and 2 coffees. The chef couldn’t even be bothered mixing the ingredients together and simply place them inside the egg omelette. Goes to show when new ownership that isn’t the authentic owners (Italian) really can run a place into the ground. Won’t ever be going back there.
I usually come here weekly for a coffee and it never disappoints. I often get their food and have tried an array of things and has always been outstanding. Would recommend
Excellent service, and a great eggs Benie with fresh ciabatta toasted to perfection. I added mushroom and salad to make the perfect breakie. Good coffee also. This Cafe is perfect to recharge before a hectic supermarket weekly shop!
Nice well cooked breakfast but not really cheap. Eggs, bacon, mushroom, toast with coffee for two people @ $50. They need some better value breakfast options.
Ordered through uber eats, meat lovers pizza and lasagne. Couldn't fault the food, fresh, tasty and well packaged. Menu is very well priced in comparison to alternatives. Will definitely be top choice in the future.
Tuesday is Specials Day&food (&drinks-alcoholic&others can be a tad pricey) is always well presented&tasty. Device can be slow, so don't go if your in a rush! A little crowded&noisy at times but that's with most dine ins
Meat pizza had barely any toppings with maybe 1 or 2 flecks of meat per slice and a couple slices had nothing at all but half a cm of mozzerella cheese - Not sure how this can be sold at all.
The food looked great but only had time for a very nice coffee. The lady who runs front of house was excellent, super friendly and efficient. Go there and tell her I sent you!
Very poor presentation, way over priced and bland taste. I normally use La Galleria Ristorante, but the chicken Parmi wasn't available tonight. Their parmi comes a a large container which has the chicken, the salad and the chips inside. It looks like a meal and tastes far superior in every way.
The chips from La Calabria were in a box like Red Rooster and they were horrible. The salad was just lettuce with the threat of a tomato with no dressing. And the worst bit was the price. La Calabria $34.99. And La Galleria was just $24.94! Yet there is no comparison.
How rude to charge so much more for such a rubbish meal. The chicken was awful too. Never again.
