Kununurra Country Club Resort reviews
36Nice place to stay. The girl at the reception helped me when the bus driver who was supposed to pick me up for a tour did not show up. She saved my day. Thx a lot.
Had an overnight stop here. The accomodation was good and the meals were nice. Breakfast has plenty to choose from.
Rooms were clean, neat & tidy. Not really worth over $200 a night though (they are a little tired). Unfortunately companies gouging during tourist season not a new thing really.
Restaurant is OK. Don’t think I would have paid the price I did for a port given they measure it by 30ml shot. Super nip… half expected pour
We arrived there on a long weekend and the majority of the staff were on holidays. That left the owner and his number two to cook and look after us which was basic. Crime in the region is high, highlighted by the police business card in your room with the statement on the card stating, You might be on holidays, the crooks aren't. I cannot offer any more advice.
Room was reasonably presented, bathroom is tired and run dowm. Food is dreadful and over priced.
The hotel itself was really nice. Pity about the buffet, this is where we believe we caught covid, no organisation at all to many people in to close quarters. Cut our trip short very disappointed.
The food was amazing, the restaurant was beautiful, and the Customer Service was amazing how they were walking around and checking on you and your food) Overall it was amazing and people should definitely visit it!
Room was clean and just a little below what we would have liked.
Had dinner in Kellys bar and grill it was very expensive pasta neopolitan $32.00and salad with chicken $38.00, servings were ok, but still over priced.
The only problems we found was some vegie not cooked long enough, and the restaurant closed at 8 pm due to short staff
Rooms, position and reception staff really good. Food sadly, not terribly good but we were on a tour so maybe that's why.
We were part of a tour group, food reasonable, prawns brilliant, alcohol prices comparative, with all food venues. Beds comfortable, showers good, rooms clean and tidy. Grounds beautiful kept and maintained.
The rooms were good but thought it was overpriced. The bed was like sleeping on a trampoline so very disappointed considering price of room. The restaurant food was excellent and service was good. Location was walking distance from CBD.
Beautiful hotel with nice spacious grounds. The buffet dinner is good. The bar has a great selection of wines, beers and spirits.
Struggling at the moment for food and staff
Sco Moe's regional plan has delivered some extra Ne Vanuatu staff to help out
Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. Very clean.
Has beautiful tropical gardens and pool area.
Our Kununurra favourite.
Really friendly and accommodating staff on reception. Got late check out, sorted date changes easily and issue with flight delay/ missed connections was no problem. Lovely spot, great pool and large rooms.
It was pretty slow due to off season and COVID restrictions, but it was a good place to crash and central to town.
The lunch at the Country Club was amazing, really great menu and the food was delicious! Very memorable. Went again for dinner and was disappointed with the service, and the food was nice but nothing better than what I could cook at home myself
Clean units, functional and comfortable enough. Some interesting lizard wildlife outside (Huge lizard fan so works for me!) Very central to town - just a 3 minute max walk to town centre. Very pleasant helpful lady on the desk the afternoon I checked in, altogether a good experience!
