Kununurra Backpackers

What a great hostel!
Lovely pool, really good kitchen with everything you need, air conditioned rooms, lots of chill out areas, great people.
But the real gem is Akeshni. She keeps the hostel clean, she's super helpful and lovely. She does more than she should really for all the guests. Thank you for your kindness

The location is awesome and the staff is really good. One of the staff members gave me a ride to the airport when none of the cab companies would. This place deserves a medal.

Overall a good hostel to stay in. Only hostel in kunnunara. Most people were working doing their 88 regional days or working even longer. Some people passing by for a night or two (usually if their car has broken down on the road). Basic and quite run down facilites but a nice pool and comfortable living areas. Such lovely guest and employees which make for such a welcoming vibe. Very chilled hostel.

Friendly staff but really run down and dirty facilities, really needs some money put into it. Understandable in current economic climate but would not stay again

Had the best stay at Kununurra backpackers! The pool was such a highlight! Laura, who ran the backpackers was so friendly & welcoming! As a solo traveler I felt really included! Definitely will stay again

It's not cheap, but that's typical for the Outback. If you need a quieter place choose the second house which is further from the party area. Nice owner and a lovely place with basically everything you need.
