Kung Fu Kitchen Morley reviews
45 I placed a takeout order online and went for pick up. As I entered the store, there were 2 or three staff around the counter that completely ignored my presence there. Then a guy all the way from the kitchen at the back of the store runs to the counter with no greeting whatsoever. I told him I had a takout order to pick up and he passes an ipad to me. I look at him with confusion asking what do you want me to do with this. He says order. I told him, if you probably listened, you would have heard that I’ve already ordered and paid. Anyway, he points at a couple of dishes in containers on the counter asking if that’s my order, and I said yes. Then he leaves without saying a word and I’m looking confused at the food and thinking, do I just grab it and go? !? ! Can they bag it at least. So I ask one of the girls that ignored me in the beginning, can you bag these so I can go. She says you haven’t paid for a bag. I said just tell me how much so I can pay and go.
Anyway, after all of that, take the dishes home. The rice and braised beef was ok but the noodle dish with mince pork was horrible and my daughter didn’t even touch it and it went straight to bin. It was tasteless with some dry peas on top which wasn’t mentioned in the menu online what they were (I assumed they were corns from the photo).
Would never order from this place again. Really bad experience
Not great delivery, food was good but soup leaked through the bag onto my carpet.also asked for it to be less spicy and they didn't change a thing
Waited for more than half an hour for the hot pot soup to arrive. Shouldn’t it be quick to get ready since it’s all pre-made?
Ordered Dan Dan Noodles and Beef Brisket and Tendon Noodles tonight and it was majority noodles. Was so salty couldn't even finish it. On order spoke to waitress and waitress confirmed with me that she would speak to the kitchen to ensure that the Dan Dan Noodles wouldn't be spicy. My partner couldn't even eat it cause it was spicy. Take it from here guys if you have issues with your heart, I strongly advise to avoid this place.
Opening hours states open until 9pm.
Arrived 14/01/23 8: 25pm and was advised the till was closed. Pretty slack for a Sat night, no issues in the other locations so will head there from now on.
I really like the spicy soup noodles and other dishes. The dessert, pumpkin mochi cake is amazing. I’ll be back.
The most awful beer in the world! Please don’t try!
Noodles taste bad, disgustingly sticky.
A local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! Huge variety of food to choose from & side dishes are delicious as well. Must try their hot pot.
Increased price with dropped service quality!
I was the huge fan of mini hot pot here. So I don't mind that the price goes up, but the food quality is getting worse.
Unfortunately the noodles just didn’t have any flavour and left a weird after taste. The pork belly rice seemed like it had been microwaved. Sadly just had higher hopes.
We used to come here alot either northbridge, cannington and morley. Since covid, I have seen drastic changes in their taste, quality and significantly drop in their portion. The mini hotpot used to be pretty large portion which normally would need two seating to finish. I have had mini hot pot twice for the last two month, the portion is definitely alot smaller. The mini hotpot allows you to add 4 veggies and 2 meat. I ordered mushroom, tofu and japanese ribbons noodles (double serving) and I only got about 4-5 ribbons. That is ridicilous esp for double serving. Very dissapointed. I paid $21 for dinner that is not even leave me full.
Pork maw rice noodle soup. Very little maw. Meat was not very fresh and was over cooked. Broth that’s been reheated too many times. Avoid. Apparently the branch in Northbridge is better.
I'm fairly regular here but most recently, the mini-hot pot has increased on price. I like it here since I also like their dumplings and fried squid but I was disappointed this time. The broth was not too spicy (bonus) but it was bland. The squid was crunchy but not very seasoned well. I often add some of the fried garlic and onions that comes with the squid to flavour my broth when it doesn't quite have the oomph factor but the squid was also a bit bland. It's such a hit and miss place with broth and squid. I already have to compromise on bite size since these squids are full size. Really hard to eat but sort the battle when it's seasoned well but not this time. The squid was the worse this time for me.
Definitely skipping this place now and will look for another place. Too much of a risk with just ordering the same menu item.
Ordered one braised pork rice and a pre-batched drink for lunch. Zero customer in the venue but waited half an hour with no food or drink to be seen nor served. It is literally picking up the drink from the fridge and give it to me and even that was not done and I did not receive a single thing for the whole wait. WITH ZERO CUSTOMERS IN THE PLACE. What a joke. Probably would've given negative stars in rating if I could.
The service is really really poor. No consistency on food quality, very stingy on portioning. No wonder they are getting quiet while other restaurant are getting busier. Today the dish I received for my takeaway its really awful It looked like they mixed the same dish from other customers leftover as I could see half old rice and old garnish mixed with new rice, very disgusting. It’s shame that they were one of my favourite restaurant but not anymore. I won’t go back again.
I ordered one of the duck noodle and it was just too plain and tasteless and the duck barely had meat. The service was also terrible. No one replied back when you talk to them.
Bad service. The female manager was rude and arrogant. She made us long time for our takeaway food and did not even bother to tell us when food was ready. We ended up waiting inside the restaurant extra 10 minutes after food was prepared. When we complained to the lady, she simply ignored us. She even forgot to give us a sauce of the food so we ended up going back to the restaurant. By the time we ate the food it was cold.
I usually visit the Kung Fu Kitchen in Newcastle Street, and expected same quality food, unfortunately one dish from my two takeaway dishes was the worst Asian seafood I ever had in my life. I lived in Hong Kong before coming to Perth and therefore have experience fair bit of Asian cuisine. I ordered fried squid tentacles with chilli because I tasted it few times from a different Asian restaurant, See the photo of the dish, it appears the kitchen hand did the dish! The batter is falling apart from the soggy half fried squid tentacles which are not even cut in a presentable manner.
Comfort food to our family. Always delivers. We love their sour szechuan lamb, Fried chicken rice and their hot pot. Their wintermelon tea is great as well. Service is always friendly and fast.
The food here is delicious, flavours authentic and unique. Lots of seating space and service is efficient.
