九龍冰室 Kowloon Cafe Perth reviews
29Had a dinner there with my family and got diarrhea for all of us during the night. Also the meal sizes were shrunk obviously. Have to leave a 1 star to remind ourselves to keep away from this place
Food quality very average, if you’re looking some kind of real Hong Kong food you might need to find somewhere to eat.
Fried rice didn’t even taste any salty in there.
Staff are nice specially the waitress, well service.
But honestly I would not recommend the food they’re provided.
Price: first time I come was cheaper then now, look like you guys markups the menu, like 60-70% up.
Every time I saw new menu I always aware the price changes.
Final:
I’m not recommend anyone who want to eat Hong Kong food who living Perth.
Next time I’ll try another restaurant Hong Kong Tea café.
Gnocchi
Food is ok, but service is quite average. Restaurants in Perth should really recognise the importance of being customer focused, this type of restaurant will not survive in a real competition. Will not consider to return, food is the same as many other restaurants.
Probably the the worst Chinese food I have had in a long time. Bland, oily greasy. I think they have a time machine and have gone back 50 years when nobody knew any better. Foul & disgusting. Will never go again. Wasted money
Large portions, but food badly prepared. Fishball noodles came out partly uncooked, with parts of the noodles clumped up and still had traces of flour. Cheesy / seafood rice dish looked okay but there was something not particularly right about the cheese. The spicy chicken hot pot was nice but it wasn't particularly spicy.and I wasn't even told that the dish would come with soup/steamboat/glass noodles - if I did, I would have not ordered the bowl of rice.
Added 26 Aug 2020 - thank you for your response. I wish you all the best.
Spring rolls and prawn toast ordered through uber eats. The spring rolls tasted like cooking oil, the inside vegetables tasted old and unpleasant. I couldn’t eat them, my seven year old couldn’t eat them. The prawn toast was average. Restaurants of Perth need to lift their game because I will not hesitate to call them all out on poor quality food.
Absolutely terrible service. Waited one hour and followed up multiple times only to find out they lost the docket.
Food wasn't bad, lightly seasoned and good portion on all three mains. One of the dishes were forgotten by either the kitchen or waitstaff, however we weren't charged for it. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time (Monday 24/10/2022 - lunch time), but wait times were arduous and long, Atmosphere felt like we were eating at a lunch bar fused with an op-shop.
Ordered 2 lunch special, pork chop and braised beef brisket with hot soup and hot tea. Delicious and tender. Value for money. Great service.
Food are nice, friendly service and the good thing is they got a kids play corners. It kills time when bring kids to there
Wok hei! If you know, you know! This is what their foods are! Fragrant, flavourful and delightful! Staffs are friendly and helpful too.
Walked past many times, but first time eating here.the noodles we got were reasonably priced and yummy.definitely on par with the stalls in the food court, so worth checking out!
Tried their Spicy Chicken Pot and Brasied Lamb Pot, taste really good with nice price. Good service and female staff is very nice! Definitely will come back!
Really delicious food here! The staff is very kind and nice and it feels like the place has a family sort of vibe. It’s very good for children as well~everything is reasonably priced well ️if I’m at Morley I always stop by and come here to eat?
Came here to have an early dinner and staffs were having a break so the manager offered soup on the house to compensate my wait (which was only 15mins). Very lovely service. Highly Recommend the sambal stir fry veg as it definitely got its wok hay! Asked the manager for few more recommendations and would love to try those next time.
Love this place for my fix of Hong Kong cooking. Favourites are the breakfast sets A, B, C, D. A is the satay beef instant noodles in soup with a side of strips of (deli) ham in an omelette, a piece of buttered toast and Hong Kong style milk tea. A$18. Staff always smile unlike the staff in Hong Kong.
Food was delicious with a bargain price~ Omg! Milk tea and Iced tea taste SUPER LOCAL️ Hong Kong Set menus are super bargain which comes with a main dish, a drink and a soup. They have hot pot meals for one person too~ the diversity of the menu is from entrée to desserts and drinks. I have been there a couple of times during lunch, tea and dinner time~ My Taiwanese friends love it too~! Staff and the owner are very nice and good service~ Hong Kong Local tastes! You never go wrong.
One of the best Hong Kong style cafes here at Perth. Original Hong Kong flavor and operated by real Hongkongers. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Highly Recommended!
Real hk style, real hk flavor!
It’s a high quality restaurant!
Prawn toast is my favorite!
Hk milk tea is very local.
Staff has good service.
Will be there next time.
The day meal set ($16.5 including a satay beef noodle, milk tea, egg & toast) is very good values.
Baked rice & stir fly are tasty too.
