Koodaideri - New Camp Site reviews
17Not a bad place to be honest, definitely worse camps out there. Just hope you get put in the ‘good’ side of camp…
For a mine/camp of the future someone’s got that wrong. Airport departures always delayed, the food I’d skip dinner most nights just Sodexho rubbish, crib is woeful the selection is terrible. Worst camp I’ve ever stayed in & for a mine of the future someone needs to wake up to themselves.
Great home away from home while you make that dough! Would recommend… very friendly and professional staff.
Very very poor food and bad wet mess with 4 midstrength a night and very rude service. Extremely unpleasant for the workers resulting in poor mental health conditions. Cancellation of camp wellness BBQs without notice. Stinking hot buses with little or no air-conditioning. Accommodation is over-ridden with mice and ants in plague proportions. Sodexo are an extremely poor company to be running a mining camp. Beer is extremely expensive and the shop is worse. Its just a kick in the guts! Shame on you treating your workers this way.shame!
Awesome camp facilities, great gym and exercise options. Rooms are functional and spacious. Love it
Worst food I've ever had. Worst accommodation ive ever stayed in alarms going off all night and barely any washing machines
Good people to work with plenty of respect.
They look after you.
I have so much fun working there.
I'd give it more stars as it's a brand new camp BUT the company running the camp have no idea of keeping up with consumables. Oh except beer, wine and spirits they never seem to run out of that. Funny that?
WiFi not working inside Camp rooms. Flying Virgin Australia not good. Check in flights is nightmare before departures. Not working properly.
Food is not good no taste. Had chicken 1 night and nearly threw up I had to spit it out it actually smelt like rotten fish bah.
Camp it self if good if you're in the new rooms
New camp site really nice rooms.
Everything is new here so new canteen, new gym, swimming pool
Food is terrible. Some nights good some nights almost un edible, rooms are cleaned sporadically, you might get clean towels twice this week and not get any the next. No Common room as yet. They run out of certain types of food regularly but never seem to run out of beer.because they make more money off the beer. Shop is waaayyy overpriced and lacks basic hygiene products which you can barely transport due to the 10kg bag limit by the airport.
#Sodexo need to understand that it's Rio Tinto that is their cash cow. THEY pay per person per night.
The prices they charge for consumables onsite to captive residents is downright criminal!
Change your ways!
Food is very average.
F and G block, although temporary, are horrible if you are in a room over the sewer pump.
No common room yet. Been waiting for months.
Finally there's talk of using a QR code for all this covid tracing. Shame they just can't use the one provided by the WA state government. Could've used it 12 months ago!
I've stayed in many, far better camps.
Standard accommodation. Not the best camp construction food I've had but they do the best with what they are given. WIFI is shockingly slow, telephone reception is suspect to the rear of the camp.
Theirs no common area to have a decent break from the room. The gyms tacky. F and g block are fatigue no sleep issues plumbing lights through room. Wake up Rio were not robots
Hey its still in construction so lots of incomplete work, food sometimes good and not so, housrkeeping is a hard one, times your room is cleaned twice or even 3 times a week and times its not? Unsure why, so yes plenty f improvements needed but hey good enough.
