Kinks hair and beauty salon has it all. Hair and beauty all in one place. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. Their coffees and little homemade biscuits are the icing on the cake.

Taryn was so lovely and thorough with my haircut. Spent well over the 45 min which was no trouble as she allowed the time to correct a previous bad haircut from elsewhere. I've found my new local!

The whole experience was terrible. I was sat in a walk way, not even offered a water, the girl doing my HMU was lovely, however not confident in what she was doing or providing help/suggestions. My eyelashes fell off with 5 mins of leaving the salon. My hair was even worse. She had to redo it multiple times and agreed it looked bad. I did receive a discount on the hair as remuneration. All the while other staff were talking about their lunch order and walking around with seemingly nothing to do. Awful experience all around. You pay to have HMU done for an event to feel special, I left feeling frazzled and ugly.

What a disgrace. Don’t get your makeup done there. What a horrific experience before my nephews wedding. I went back to our accommodations and wiped it off. There was no chance I was going to my nephews wedding looking like a cartoon character that could shoot lightning from my ORANGE eyes. Not to mention my triple caked on make up because the first two tries were looking like I was covered in gluggy white plaster. A funeral parlour could have done a better job of making me look alive. I was so upset that I spent 2.5 hours trying not to cry and walk away. I had no back up plan, nor should I need one if I hire a professional. The person did an excellent job of my SIL’s makeup up. Thank god. It’s my own fault, I chose a cheap place for this service and I got a cheap (and extremely nasty) result. Never again. NASTY

I trust no one else with my eyebrows now I have found Sandalee, she is amazing and will make you look an absolute ten. Really good aftercare available and advice to keep your lashes healthy as well!

I came in for a simple wash and to have my hair straightened.

I understand the girl who did this is young and inexperienced however I had 17 years old junior s do a far better job.

She left shampoo or conditioner in my hair. My hair was greasy and limp. I had a function on that night and my hair looked oily and limp. Even after I redid parts of it. She had no idea what she was doing yet you all stood there and let her carry on. My hairdresser who is an owner always checks on her juniors. She knew my hair had shampoo in as I could see her frustration. She was a tad rough with my shampoo I told her it was ok but did not rinse it out. She had no idea how to blow dry or straighten. I was very close to standing up and Walking out or worse showing her how to do it properly.

Very disappointing and it was as only a wash, and blow dry. She needs more training. This is very unfair to her and customers.

Jasmine cut and styled my hair and did a great job. Very personable and professional. I definitely recommend Jasmine and she will be cutting and looking after my hair from now on. I'm very happy.

Absolute lifesavers! I booked a haircut and style at Kinks South Fremantle on recommendation from my mum (they really do know best) for the 40under40 Gala Awards night at Crown, I never dress up but thought, what the heck!?
Diane did my hair and I honestly felt like a queen walking outta there, I was so happy with her skills, professionalism and honesty in recommending styles and products, she is lovely. She styled my hair around my face so nicely I got compliments all night!
But it gets better! I'd had my make up booked already (didn't realise Kinks did that too) but an hour before my appointment (2 hours before event) my make-up lady contacted me with an emergency and couldn't do it. I immediately called Kinks and Jacinta so kindly squeezed me in at the last minute and I'm so glad she did! She is so talented, my skin felt and looked glowy and soft, I asked for a natural look and she delivered perfectly so that I felt comfortable and just like myself, but glamorous! Eye make-up and lashes was subtle but pretty, she did exactly what I had in mind. I ended up having such a great night and i am so grateful they went out of their way to help me in such a tight spot. This is how you run a business, excellent, skilled professionals who are kind and helpful, it was so refreshing and I would highly highly recommend!

First time visit to Kinks today to get sone waxing done, my beautician was Tracey and boy how impressed was I, usually when I get my waxing, top lip and eye brows I tense up, Tracey was so gentle and her very soothing voice really calmed me down that I really didn’t feel the waxing at all, Tracey was very professional, on time and I am really happy with the results, I will definitely be going back to Kinks and especially for Tracey services, thank you Tracey.

Just had a beautiful wash, cut and blow dry with curls done by Louisa. Absolutely love it! Louisa is really friendly and put great care into the small details in my hair. The cut was done really well and the curls are perfect. Great value too. I would definitely be coming back if I wasn't leaving Perth before my next hair cut. I was looking around for a tip jar but I couldn't see one, I would have loved to leave a tip! Or the option to leave a tip on card would be great too, I feel bad for not leaving a tip for such a great experience!

Just do not get your hair cut here. My hair looks like a preschooler cut it with paper scissors. I asked for the most basic straight trim (absolutely nothing complicated) and ended up with this choppy uneven mess. It's much shorter than I asked for and will be even shorter after I get it fixed.really disappointing given how simple my request was. I am still wondering how this even happened and was given no explanation when I went back - it is completely butchered and I could have done a far better job myself - take a look at the picture.

Very disappointed with my hair which I had done a few weeks ago, I paid for a hair cut/style, colour change, blow dry and style which was 310. Fair enough if you get what you asked for. But my hair was only trimmed, highlighted and the 'curls' lasted 10 minutes. Even now my hair looks so bland and i can't get it cut differently as it's too short. The girl was also yawning the whole time but it's ridiculous to ask for curls and have her spend 2 minutes on my hair I could've and do, do a better job at home. The salon was also freezing cold.

Wonderful experience with Tanieka! After a bad experience at previous salon left me with uneven colour Tanieka has managed to work wonders with colour correction. I now have even, clean, cool blonde tones - exactly what I was looking for! Not to mention the best scalp massages in Perth!

I have been seeing Taneika for years at Kinks and wouldn't have anyone else do my hair. She specialises in blonde and is always super pleasant and professional and keen to work with any new ideas I might have. Love my local, thanks for always looking after me.

I PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR A COLOUR AND CUT. I DID CHOOSE THE COLOUR IN DISCUSSION AND ON ADVICE FROM TANIEKA, BURGUNDY SHADE 3/4 STRENGTH. SHE DID SEEM NICE AND PROFESSIONAL.
WHEN IT WAS FINISHED I COULDN'T REALLY SEE ANY COLOUR IT JUST LOOKED A DARK BLACK! SHE SAID YOU WILL SEE THE COLOUR IN THE SUNLIGHT. BUT WHEN I GOT HOME I STILL COULD NOT SEE ANY BURGUNDY COLOUR! FOR THE MONEY I PAID YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE SOME COLOUR!
WHEN I RANG UP TO TALK TO HER, SHE JUST KEPT SAYING THAT IS THE COLOUR WE DISCUSSED. I SAID IT WAS NOT, AS THERE IS NO COLOUR!
SHE WOULD NOT OFFER ANY DISCOUNT AND DID NOT CARE THAT SHE HAD A DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER! IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD GONE TO THIS SALON AND WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!

I’ve been to this salon a few times now, I get my hair washed, trimmed and blow dryed by Tanika. She does a wonderful job and she’s really professional and thorough. I feel that she takes a lot of pride in her work. I was disappointed when I saw the reviews on here as I’ve only ever had a good experience at this salon.
