Kingsley Motel and Cabernet Restaurant

The hotel thought it OK to cancel my booking (made in January this year) only a few weeks out to prioritise other guests. Their unique location and the last minute warning has meant there is no other suitable accommodation for me to attend my friend's wedding without driving a reasonable distance. I would not recommend booking with this hotel due to this risk.

I booked this hotel 4 months in advance of a close friends wedding as we knew manjimup hotels where in high demand.
Kingsley accepted my reservation then emailed me months later and cancelled my reservation.
Disgraceful behaviour
They can get away with this due to the high demand but it's appalling behaviour

The women that work here are so lovely! 10/10 service at reception and the restaurant. They were so inviting and accommodating. Not just with me but other guests. Incredible! The accommodation and venue are beautiful and relaxing. Very clean and well kept. Definitely recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean.

At the restaurant, I ordered a porterhouse steak (medium) with chips and salad. Some 20 minutes later, I was advised by the waitress that the chef said he was to busy to do chips and salad and that he was going to serve vegetables. (Albeit, other dishes were still coming out with chips and salad).
When the meal came out, I was underwhelmed with the size of the steak. The steak was dry and over cooked as were the vegetables.
For $38, I was not impressed. I did advise the waiteress of my concerns with no return feedback.

Outstanding, Food was really very good I was pleased. I had the ribs it was a large delicious meal. My Mom had the lamb shank, Mom says it was very tasty. We both had sweets Mom had the Creme Brulee it was delicious, I had the Sticky Date Pudding it was amazing.
The place is clean and well Staffed, Staff are really great and friendly.
The restaurant has a Fire Place which was really very nice and cosy.
We will be back.

Clean place and tidy rooms. Located right next to the town and easy access for bakeries and Chinese food places. Very quiet and worth the price.

We came as a stopover because of the great food reviews in restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Chris the chef, spoiled us with some of the best food in a long time, the pork ribs rivalling many Perth restaurants. Shelby took great care of us during our stay. Great staff.

Kingsley Motel is a fantastic place to stay. The room is nice and clean. The bed is comfy and quite night for a good sleeping. All of the people here are very helpful. I highly recommend to stay here. And I’ll definitely come back again.

Fairly basic room but clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and could not have been more accommodating to help me get a meal after the restaurant closed. I was very impressed.

Good rooms, cosy and a spacious bathroom as well! Had the deluxe suite (or was it premium?). Either way, the motel is not located far from the town centre and has a restaurant, ample parking as well.

Solid stay!

Kingsley motel is the best motel and restaurant in Manjimup, the rooms are neat and the night stay is quiet. It is a good place to stay and eat.

Reception staff nice but quickly put a mask on when I went in. (There was already someone else in the reception at the time) the room was deluxe but average. Fairly clean except the air con that was filthy. Dripping from air con onto my head the entire night, when I mentioned it to staff they moved us next door to exactly the same room. No sorry or compensation. No bin in bathroom and only 1 towel each. It was ok but far too expensive for what it was- $330 for two nights

Nice and quiet location very friendly and helpful management, staff and cleaning ladies. Rooms are well kept clean and tidy. Experienced a very enjoyable stay.
