A wonderfully relaxed, friendly, volunteer-run multi-purposed clubroom.
It caters mostly for Junior AFL in winter and cricket in summer over most weekends.
The smell of bacon & egg rolls and sizzling sausages fills the morning air, and the coffee from the canteen is delicious. Yum
The bathrooms are clean, there is ample seating, and parking on both sides of the oval. There is a well-used and child friendly playground. It is a great gathering point for the local community.
Sadly and with a huge community backlash, the City of Joondalup Council is determined to 'tax' families to play local sports on this and nearby local community grounds. Surely, there is a better way to raise revenues? !
It is a lovely place to visit, which I do often.
Kingsley Football club. Would be one of the best club houses and playing grounds in WA
I only went into the clubrooms for the bathroom. What I saw it looked good. Clean and fairly spacious. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of parking for the football game we went there for.
The memories that are held by this special are part of its endearment to the community. It is a big club, with a lot of teams and members.
