What a great medical practise.
Both Doctors were professional and articulated a treatment thoroughly.
Staff were friendly and focused.
I will definitely use this practice in the future

As a new patient when I arrived they were very helpful and accommodating. I have had such a great experience with Dr Andrew and Tara and the whole team, that now our whole family goes there. I would definitely recommend going to Kingsley Medical!

Dr Andrew Thomson is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen. I would recommend him over and above any doctor. He is caring and compassionate and follows through to check every detail. I cannot praise him enough for his highly professional approach.

I had placement as a student here.
Needless to say Dr Andrew Thomson and Erin are both legends in they way they treat patients and teach students. All the staff deserve praise in making the centre such a welcoming environment.

My first few experiences with Andrew Thompson were great. He was very charming, friendly and seemed very willing to help- even said that I could email him directly with any questions.

During my last appointment, I requested a specialist referral and his entire demeanour flipped like a switch. He said "You women are all the same, you don't listen". And he said if I wanted the referral it would have to be through the public system and he didn't have time to do it. The whole experience left me so rattled.

I just can't explain how he could react like that. My only theory is that by requesting a specialist referral, I injured his ego/pride as it showed I was opting for a specialist opinion rather than continuing with his management.

Dr Thompson is so knowledgeable & skilled. Muscular skeletal issues in particular investigated until he finds the answers. This guy does not give up!

Dr Thompson and his staff have been extremely friendly and professional every time that I have either called, or visited the surgery.

Dr Thompson is a very talented and knowledgeable doctor. He has been able to assist me with one medical issue that has resulted in improvements after a multitude of other doctors and specialists including surgeons couldn't assist and in some cases made my condition worse with their attempts at treatment. He was also able to diagnose a nerve and muscle related problem which had been undetected and misdiagnosed by doctors, physiotherapists and osteopaths and a neurosurgeon which Dr Thompson is now assisting me with. He genuinely cares about his patients and always acts in their best interests as he has consistently done with me to date.

What else can I say about Dr Andrew Thompson that hasn’t already been said before.

For some reason it won’t let me reply to your response.
I was late to the appointment by 6 minutes. I had gone to the wrong location. It was a Motor Vehicle Accident appointment. I’ve never known a Motor Vehicle Accident appointment to be 15mins and I worked in a clinic for a few years. There was no option to reschedule with you because you told your receptionist you didn’t want to see me anymore because I was late by a few minutes. My first experience there and was just insane. I never spoke to the lady rudely I was questioning why I couldn’t be seen by you and why I had to pay $100 bill for being 5 minutes late. Not once did I raise my voice, yell or be rude. But judging by everyone else’s reviews it just makes sense. I was referred to you by my lawyer and I’ll just give her the feedback she needs so she doesn’t send anyone else this way.

Your replies speak volumes. Just wish I read them before wasting my time to book

Not a good experience as a new patient and will definitely not return.
I am medically exempt from wearing a mask (with a legal document from my dr) and was refused in the appointment for my 6yr old daughter unless I put a mask on.

Was not told that children are being privately billed even on a weekday. Just got an account later in the mail and I was not even in the appointment for 10 minutes.

I got my stretched ear lobes repaired by Dr Andrew and I am beyond stoked with the result. For someone with extremely fine lobes- the results are incredible and my ears look like they were never even stretched. Dr Andrew made sure that everything was done to perfection. The beautiful nurse Cheryl and Andrew took such care throughout both procedures and were extremely accomodating. A special mention to Dr Tobie and all of the lovely receptionists as well. So very glad I chose Kingsley Medical and very excited to wear my hair up without any care in the world
Highly recommend!

Terrible service by Dr Andrew Thompson. My husband had booked a doctors appointment to get a referral for pathology requested by our fertility specialists. Dr. Andrews refused to give the Pathology test even after seeing the email request from the clinic. It’s already a stressful and sensitive process to go through and this put more pressure on it. We then had to book another appointment at a different medical centre and pay another consultation fee which then the Dr handed it straight over what was required for us to progress with our treatment. After recently moving the the area we actually thought we had found a good medical clinic, but we’re obviously going to have to keep looking. The reception staff were lovely and did apologise a few times as they seemed puzzled also.

Whilst the Dr I saw was lovely, I was really disappointed I wasn’t informed of the price of an appointment on a Saturday morning beforehand. I expected it would be more than a weekday appointment, but $120 for a 10min appointment! Turns out my son was teething and didn’t have an ear infection. Expensive lesson learned.

Very disappointing. Had an appointment this afternoon and arranged to leave work early for the 3.00pm scheduled consultation. I completely understand the need for punctuality as I work in a service industry myself. However, after apologising to the surgery when they rang me while I was in the car on my way (as I had at least a 20 minute drive) and arriving a total of SIX MINUTES LATE then to be told "sorry your too late, the doctor wont see you today. " is going a bit too far. Wont be coming back!

I am almost 80 years of age with a lot of health issues. I would say without fear of contradiction that this is the best practice I have ever been to. Dr Thompson thinks outside the box and seeks ways to assist you rather than just say "you are getting old"

Visited this clinic today and was most impressed. Dr Andrew Thompson is an excellent doctor and very easy to talk to. I can see why he gets top reviews from his patients. The staff behind the counter were very friendly too. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Dr Thompsan was a physio turned Gp. He does not bulk bill. Charisma and confidence go so far but this man lacks compassion, knowledge and empathy. If you display any slight anxiety, he becomes irratable and rude. Anyone can type into a data base and read out what it is says but not anyone can diagnose and provide solutions. He is useless as a general practioner, to the point that he will not accept any patients with mental health problems. This has been publically released in news articles. If you have an underlying health condition he will simply just inject you with steroid shots, without finding the root of the problem or referring for further tests.
P. S I AM NOT ALISA. The ego on this man assuming I'm someone else. It just proves my point. I had to repost this as I had a reply claiming I'm this woman. I'm a man. I have never heard of this woman. I never took steroid shots as I'm smarter then that. I have no problem with you not bulk billing I'm just letting other patients know. That is all. I've reviewed with my honest opinion and experience.

It's seldom you find a doctor as insightful and personable as Dr Andrew Thompson. He will provide you with suitable options and a starting point to deal with your condition certainly you did that with me and at no point did he ever criticize my idiosyncrasies which I've had from other doctors and their "I know best attitudes" it always seems to be a purposeful two way conversation for which I am very grateful and in safe medical environment.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor. Extremely knowledgeable, very forward thinking, takes your issues seriously but also has a sense of humour.
The premises are immaculate, the staff are fabulous.
