This is my favourite fish & chip shop, that we alway drive to, when having fish & chips. I have been hanging out for fish & chips this week. Unfortunately l was so disappointed today when finally got my fish & chips. The potato scallops where nice and thin, just the way l like them, but they were NOT COOKED. The snapper is normally really moist, but today it was extremely dry.
SO DISAPPOINTED, maybe the owner’s need to look at this review and keep this in mind. We love supporting small businesses.

Best fish & chips in the area! Even better with the new owners and we liked it before! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially how busy and noisy it gets in there on busy nights! The fish is lovely and the grilled fish is beautiful. Good portion sizes and great service!:)

Always go here for fish and chips. They can cater to Coeliacs with seperate fryers and prep space. The lemon pepper coating is amazing and it's the softest calamari I've had anywhere.

Great value. Lovely crispy coating on the NZ hake. Great non greasy chips. Generous portions. Thank you!

Recently moved to the area and tried the Kingsley Fish and Chip shop for the first time tonight. REALLY enjoyed the meal. Won't be the last time. The moment I walked thru the door and saw 8 staff I knew it had to be good. That and the fact that the shop was almost full with customers gave me a good vibe.
Keep up the great work guys.

I got the pink snapper and chips. Was a good quality meal. The snapper was perfectly battered and cooked. The chips were thickly and also cooked to perfection. Shop looked very nice and clean and conveniently located in the Kingsley Village shopping complex.

The owners seem great and friendly however the food was a bit of a let down and I don't think we will be back. The chips came with no salt or vinegar on them and the snapper was overcooked and very dry.

I am absolutely shocked at how friendly and amazing the new Managment is. The fish was so fresh and soft I can tell it is not frozen and it was made with love! The chips were so crunchy and delicious. It is so hard to find a good fish and chip shop. So I thank you very much and will be back! Keep up the good work guys

Superb! Such a wonderful experience for a coeliac family. Separate cooking area, separate fryer for chips and an absolute understanding of the risk of cross contamination. The fish was superb, the chips crispy and the portions very generous. The staff so friendly and helpful and we are so relieved and happy to be able to have coeliac safe fish and chips. Get behind them, great value, coeliac safe and yummy! Emphatic 5 stars.

The fish was so fresh and soft, nothing was oily and the chips were nice and crunchy.

Really disappointed. Haven’t been since previous owners.
Fish really dry and chips even worse. Quite appalling. And around 15 bucks over the average based on other venues.

My usual place I go to buy fish and chips was closed so I went here instead. The flavor was good but fish and chips portion was small compared to my usual shop. Hence I would not be going back. Sorry but you should give two pieces of fish for 1 serve if they are small. That makes for good business.

Bought a piece of King Snapper tonight and it was extremely small. More like a small childs serve, certainly not for an adult. When I questioned the man behind the counter about the size compared to the price, he just shrugged his shoulders. Fish was small, overcooked and oily. Won't be going back there. Moolanda Fishband Chips are far better,

Nothing stands out, like any other struggling fish & chips business with high rent. You get what you ask for, the quantity is about the same as the many other fish and chips I tried. 2 years ago I found the Ellenbrook Fish and chips had the thicker size snapper than any store. Apart from this side track, waiting time on order is normal, and they have never messed up my order. Another side track, worthy ofva merit was/is the best battered i ever had was from Flatheads Fish Supply (Fish n chips) back in the late 90's in Kalgoorlie, was the thinest coat of crunchy / crispy batter ever. Was like going from original recipe to hot and spicy in KFC.
