Kings Meadow Reserve reviews
20Lovely spacious park fronting onto Swan River near the Guilford Bridges. Plenty of parking. Road to far side of park can be a bit muddy after rain. Great off lead area for dogs.
Beached the tinny on the shore and had a sit in the shade watching the ducks. Nice and peaceful.
Watch out for dogs off their leads. Dog owners who have no respect for others using that reserve.
Beautiful reserve with a great walking trail through it (walking along side the water). Has a basic playground for the kids but to be honest kids don't really care how big they are.
Absolutely gorgeous spot, right on the bend of the river, very shady
Large open space so plenty of room for walking, picnics
I did see a decent playground area too
Nice picknick area and free bbq facilities as well as toilets and a playground. Its local wild life are ducks, geese, crows amd more. The geese are my favorite.
Where the Swan River meets the Helena River in Guildford Kings Meadows appears to be a great spot for a family day out. As the name suggests there is a large grassy field here making an excellent place for sports. Be aware that the road to the carpark is not a sealed roadway.
Wicked open space, tracks here there and everywhere, for mountain biking, walking, running, and plane spotting, for when the big boys are using 21/03, at Perth Airport.
Nothing much there, a couple of BBQ tables and benches, public toilets play ground. It's on the river, so it was nice to watch the boats go past. Couple of families fishing there to day. Oh watch out for the flock of geese very friendly and they do make a lot of noise.
Quiet and peaceful place to be whilst overlooking the river. Calmly enjoy the scenery and admiring the passing kayakers. With a couple of huts and a small playground, nice to be in. Only thing is will be better if there's a toilet.
Had an enjoyable time here with young children. Not a lot to do for kids and playground is pretty average but kids loved playing in river! Scenic area to watch birdlife
I was approach by Mary and Jo from the city of swan on Monday 5th August while out taking my dog for a walk too find out that this park was reserved only for dogs on lead but too find out later that morning, that its a DOG OFF LEAD PARK i was chuffed its a beautiful famliy park with clean rest rooms, heaps of barbie facilities and shade too have a get together for the entire famliy but dog owners please be mindful of other dogs there not all friendly and dont forget too pick up there business too the park is shared by kids too.
Nice large open area adjacent to the Swan River. Small playground area, a couple of short jetties to throw a line off to try for black bream or maybe a mulloway in the river. Walk the dog or just commune with nature are also possibilities on this small floodplain reserve. Good vantage spot when the Avon descent is on.
Great reserve but it's the same if the park or reserve falls into swan shire they don't have any
Natural greenaries will make yoi feel more close to nature rather than those man-made parks. Relaxing place
Nice place for a quiet long walk. Lots of trees, green fields, a trickling stream, interesting birds. Really feels like you are in some village, not a city!
Went there in the evening. Lovely clean park suitable for dogs on lead. Lovely lawn. Kid play area. Didn't see any bbq's though.
A beautiful spot on a nice day to enjoy a walk along the meanderiing Helena river. Variety of water birds usually wading or swimming.follow the track through under the bridge to remnant of old settlers wooden bridge, interesting and thought provoking sight.
River flowing past. Big grassy oval.small playground. A couple of shaded wooden hutches and a couple of barbeques (wood fired). Several quiet nooks to catch some bream.nice walks along the river banks. A few dog walkers
