Great Fish and Chips crispy n perfect. Fleshy fresh fish without too much batter. Ample chips - and the proper size. Around $15 per portion. Reasonably fast as possible service (they are always busy). No complaints at all from our multiple visits over a few years. TV and a few chairs while you wait. Or pre order and your meal will be ready when you arrive. Always served well wrapped and hot. Drinks are icy cold from the cooler. Friendly staff. No old fat smells from kitchen area - the cooking oil is clearly fresh. One of the best fish & chips shops around.

Last night we waited for nearly 2 hours for our Family Seafood Platter costing $76 that missed a few advertised products and the food was burnt/overcooked. We arrived to order at 6.03pm, to then be told that it would take an hour to an hour and half wait. We ordered, paid then my 6mth pregnant friend and I decided to drop her 2 kids under 2 yrs of age home to our husbands. We returned in an 1 hour 15mins. When I asked the front young person (with dark hair and glasses) for an update, he rudely corrected me in a condescending tone saying "I put you down for 7.30pm pick up! ". So we patiently waited, me - a type 1 diabetic and my friend - a pregnant 6month woman. We received our meal at 7.50pm. I asked the young server if it was all correct and he said yes. Unfortunately when we got home there was missed ingredients and the meal was burnt and overcooked. So so disappointing. To be on holiday from another state to experience this, was really deflating. Understandably, it was Good Friday, a Public Holiday however, with only 3 people staffed, this failed to provide any quality service. Please improve your quality of service and plan ahead for congested orders on a public holiday.

We have been customers of Kim's since they opened 4 or 5 years ago. This is a family business operating from very small premises; and scaling up is not an option. Sometimes they get quite busy. To avoid waiting in peak times, ordering by phone is best. Despite cramped premises and a demanding local clientele, Kim's is extremely clean and efficient. Consistently they provide us with just about the best fish and chips we have ever had.

Extremely slow unmotivated service. Wait times are told to be 25 minutes, but waited 55mins, other customers waiting expressed the same frustrations.

Have had a bad experience every time I’ve gone here and am over it!
The service is absolutely terrible. I thought it was a once off but it’s happened multiple times now. Last time I went there was one staff member working - he was cooking, taking calls, online orders and working the till. Not once did we get an apology from him or any sort of acknowledgment that we had been waiting 45 mins to even place an order. Another time I ordered for pick up on Uber eats. The app told me it was ready, but when I got there I was waiting another half an hour. Never going back.

$15, no serviettes and look at the chips - so disappointed will never go back! Sucks I can’t show the photo of my disappointment in here

Worst chips and gravy I've ever tasted. The chips were literally swimming in gravy. So soggy and artificial, it's inedible.

Got takeaway on good Friday and on Tuesday night. Really happy with the quality which is why we went back. Nice crunchy chips and generous portion for the fisherman's basket

Long service just for the food quality to be bad, waited over 15 mins for soggy chips and bad gravy. Prices are overpriced too. The food is actually so bad

Went to get Fish and Chips for Lunch recently on a week day. Quiet so order only took 10 mins. Took it around the corner to eat in the park. Best Fish n Chips we have had in a long time. Fish, Chips, Sea Scallops and Crumbed Prawns, all excellent. Service good and friendly. We will be return.

I wonder how this restaurant gets its five stars? Cause this was the worst fish and chips we have ever got. The fish was yellow in flesh, classic freezer burn, and it was dry with no flavour whatsoever. The chicken nuggets were so over cooked they were horrible, probably the best part of the meal were the cans of drink.

Yet to taste the meal, but don't say it's a 20 min pick up time and then I wait another 30 mins in the store, that's just ridiculous. Let's hope food is worth the hr wait!

Just moved into the area so tried our local. Absolutely beautiful. Could very well be our new Friday night favourite. Crispy, thick fish, well seasoned. Quick and friendly service. Thank you!

Had barramundi and chips last night. The best we have had in a long long time. Crisp batter and fab chips. Thank you.

Ordered and paid, 45 min wait, no worries.

Came back 45' later and the staff had zero clue about the order, asked me twice if I was in the right shop (wow, really?) and then somehow found and only started cooking it.
I eventually bring the loot to the fam on the beach. Guess what: The order was incomplete.

Some people should run a f&c shop. Others should just do something else.

Quick service, friendly staff, new feel establishment. Chips taste like they have been re-fried in old oil though. Hard and dry.

Said ready in 15 minutes and he was bang on. Large portion and tasted like Fish n Chips.can't complain.

They changed our order but did not tell us, and the food was awful - the fish tasted so bad we had a couple of bites and threw it out. Really bad experience, I would not recommend.

Literally the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Fish was clearly frozen and cooked from that state too as it was watery, mushy and soft. Chips were well over cooked, as were the squid rings that were bordering on black.
Staff look like they had no idea what they were doing.
Would not recommend.
