Used to be amazing, now very slow and inconsistent with smaller portion sizes. Disappointing

Stopped using them because of other issues with delivery and food.
This time tried again ordered fish and chips and a couple of other items and got fish no chips. Sorry we are do busy we will componsate you next time no email to guareetee this.
Seriously stay away from them as consistency is not there even reading other reviews

The worst f&C chip shop in Perth, something missing from the order EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Owners don't care, make excuses every time for not being the owners or it's their first night.

The truth is the just don't care about the correct order going out or if it's burned beyond a crisp.

Fantastic fish and chips, I have just found my favourite fish shop. The fish was beautiful and the batter was to die for. Absolutely the nicest fish and chips I had anywhere.

Great fish and chips! The young fella serving did a tremendous job under very trying circumstances on Good Friday. Good Friday is a day that requires patience and understanding for fish and chip shops, their busiest day of the year. The fish and chips were worth waiting for, a great little business.

Delicious fish and chips. Soft juicy fish, perfectly crispy succulent batter. Chips are perfect and even the squid and prawns are juicy and flavourful…

Recently popped into Kims for a feed with my mate Kadin Mavid Jr Senior. He reckoned it was some jolly good potato. I whole heartedly agreed with the big man. Highly recommend.

Get fish and chips from our local at very reasonable prices, service without a fuss.

Been going here for many years and mostly good, tonight when I cut into the battered fish it looked raw inside and felt like jelly. I out it in the air fryer for a few minutes but it still looked suspicious, still jelly like to touch and didn't taste good. No argument when I returned it to the shop and he gave me my money back. I just couldn't face trying to eat fish after that.

Was a slight mistake on our order tonight, we called up and it was immediately rectified.
Big thanks to the crew for a smooth experience, and an easy fix.

We always buy the New Zealand Hake Fish in batter with chips and it’s always cooked to perfection. The Hake is a beautiful tasting fish to us. The people who work in the shop are always very pleasant and they always add extra peace’s of fish to our order for no extra charge. Good kind business.

UNCOOKED FISH! I order here over the phone, was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes, then didn't start cooking my order till about 5 minutes AFTER I got there and paid for my order, then they rush the order because they kept you waiting for so long and serve you RAW FISH, I will never go back here and who ever runs this poor excuse of a fish n chips shop should be made aware, this is not ok! Raw fish people.

Look not too bad.
Fish is thick, which is great because it's easy to hide a thin piece of fish in batter.
Chips are good. Not soggy and good amount.

Better to phone order in and not wait in the shop because they do take longer than they should.
One guy on the fryers, and two staff wrapping and answering phone. Probably needs to be the other way round.
But all in all, worth going to, good size menu too.
Phone first though, and give that single bloke on the fryers time.

Food is ok, however the staff here are horrifically underpaid, with no “extras” given to them such as super and weekend/P. H rates… the bare minimum really. It’s not worth supporting such a disgusting business. Would rate 0 stars if possible but I want people to know how this chain operates.

AMAZING fish and chips! Best I've eaten in a long time. Ordered through Menulog - received super hot, fresh and crispy battered snapper. Glad we tried this restaurant, will order again!

Been coming here for ages have always thought it was wonderful value, tonight I get overcharged and when I call the young girl out she tells me it’s only $6 and stares at me I had to say can I have my money back. She then hands me $5 and says that’s it, I said you still owe me a $1 her answer is she has dyslexia so I should not query her… well guess what hun I also have dyslexia and that is not reason to rip of customers or be rude to them. Sorry to the owner he has always been fantastic, hope you find better staff.

FANTASTIC!

I always worry when I try somewhere new for fish 'n' chips - I hate the frozen pre packaged, pre crumbed seafood with no flavour and no edible texture. The same stuff you could buy in a supermarket and bang in your own oven at home. Don't get me wrong it's edible but why pay more for a meal you can do yourself with no effort. Unfortunately these days a lot of places are doing exactly that.

This place - if you ever picture an old school potion and version of Fish 'n' Chips. Then this place will make exactly that. Proper batter (could eat just the batter by its self) (flakey, thick fillets of fish) truely fantastic. I haven't eaten such delicious fish 'n' chips since I was a kid, its great to see that their are some businesses out there doing things traditionally and I'm sure this will make your business prosper!

A word of advice for those passionate about fish 'n' chips - check the menu. If they offer crumbed fish or squid rings and no other option then you now its all pre packaged/pre crumbed same as you find in the deep freeze at your supermarkets. A place that can offer all it - crumbing or battering or grilling their fish fillets or calamari or prawns or mussels or scollops they have bought at the market and doing it at a standard we all expect from the local shop.
