Kimmy's Fish & Chips

Amazing we discovered this place from the recommendation of a friend. The snapper was amazing and we will definitely be back. Worth every cent.

Note reviews are from some time ago and only a couple of positive ones.
The food is consistently overcooked and old greasy taste and texture that you only get from using OLD oil To fry In.
The owner is completely negligent to his customers.
When confronted with the fact he had overcooked our order to the point of being crispy, he quite readily admitted, " oh yes that was me.i overcooked that one. "
So he knowledgebly overcooked the order till it was almost burnt and still wrapped it and sent it out.then admitted to doing so.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED.

Great food with great service! I ordered the Moons family pack but changed the fish to shark and ordered a few crab sticks. The serving size was great for a family and the fish was cooked perfectly with the best batter coating! The chips and crab sticks were amazing.
I Highly recommend Moons, it’s the best fish and chip shop in the area.

Presentation was nice, chips were nice but fish was soft and slimy.think it was basa. Monk fish. Yuck

One of the best spots in Perth hands down! Everything was still crispy after being wrapped up for 20mins. Oil was fresh, large portion and Aaron was super friendly and helpful.

The quality and quantity of the food here is great. To top it off the owner and staff genuinely care about the customers… This is hands down the one of the better fish and chip shops I’ve found in West Aus.

I used to drive from Spearwood to Leeming for good fish and chip's and when Moon's fish and chip's opened up I had to try. They are the tastiest fish and chip's in this region by a long shot a good price and friendly service too!

Met the owner over at our Japanese takeaway in Subiaco last week and decided to try out their fish and chips, we purchased through ubereats and the seafood basket is generous size! We also ordered the Red Emperor and Barramundi fish, they all very fresh. Very satisfied with the good experience, thank you Moon family

Very delicious fish and the yummiest chips. Second time I've been and very happy both times with freshness, flavour, friendliness and helpfulness of staff and the owner. Now my F&C goto.

Was so good. Tried to take a picture but after the kids had a bite of the fish and chips they went back to put more on their plates. Generous serves and delicious. This is definitely a new favorite will order again!

I used to get my fish and chips from Kimmy's and I ordered tonight under Moons. I was told a 45 minute wait over the phone which was fine and I was happy to wait. Ended up waiting another 30 minutes in store to get my meal after I had to ask for it with no apology for the long wait or any extras to compensate. The fish was mushy and everything was over salted. Sorry but we won't be back again. Very disappointed

Used to be Kimis and was my local and always beautiful. Now Moon's and was the worst fish ever. Maybe Basa was used but it was so mushy and disgusting. My parents were over and even they agreed plus we were one less potato scollop and some were so small compared to the usual potato scollop. Very disappointed and now looking for another local.

This is a good find.went in and ordered fish n chips for one with potato scallop and Mussels very big portion.it feed me and my partner and still leftovers. Chips still very crunchy when we got home and the fish was big.

Gummy shark, dim sum and squid was all awful. Squid had so much bready batter on it it was inedible, shark tasted fishy and wrong and the dim sum was flavourless. Only the chips were half decent. On top of that we were told 25 minutes and ended up waiting 50 with no apology just a "thanks for waiting". Will never return.

We ordered some menu Kimmy's shop for our first new year party. It was totally great awesome. Everyone happy with that. So clean and fresh food

I don't know if it's the owner or the staff, but they were very friendly. The service was the best. I will definitely become a regular customer. Recommend it!

Freshest fish and chips ever. Also staff was so nice to us! We've regularly visited this place for years and always been impressed by the food.

Ordered via uber eats, Ordered fish and chips with crumbed fish, fish arrived black, burnt too a crisp, taste and quality of fish terrible. Other items ok but if a fish and chips place can't cook fish properly they really are failing! Very disappointing!
