I presented Kathy with a challenging "client" - a very spirited (stubborn) teenager who struggles to control her emotions. Working with Kathy has given me confidence in my handling, along with a swath of excellent tips for what I can do to either avoid, or reduce the intensity of the emotion-spill-over situations I've been facing. 100% recommended!

Kathy has been amazing helping us learn to work together better.and it was so easy to implement. Bear was better behaved after his first session and he is much less responsive to his triggers now, responding to commands almost immediately. Life could be quite stressful before Kathy.

Dog whisperer indeed! Kathy is amazing! We had been struggling to work out what was going on in our babies head when it came to her reacting to other dogs and people she didn't know, Kathy was very patient and calmly explained to us some techniques to help bee with how she's feeling when other dogs approach her which has given us the confidence to take her out on adventures where there may be other dogs present and shes been great! Kathy and her dogs are a great team I can't recommend them enough!

We took our rescue dog Maggie to Kathy after trying a few other trainers for Maggie's reactivity to dogs. We had made some decent progress with the other trainers but nothing compared to seeing Kathy - Maggie being able to socialise with her dogs in a controlled way was a game changer. Best thing we have done for our dog was take him to Kathy! We now have the confidence and support to help him become a less anxious, less reactive dog and be able to take him out and meet other dogs! We saw a great improvement in him, not just outside but his focus on us as well. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to help him help himself further!

When we adopted our two small dogs (4 and 5 year old) we were lost at how to help them as they were highly anxious and reactive to both humans and dogs. They would lunge and bark at other dogs and be rather unpredictable. With Kathy’s guidance and through practical interactions with her gentle pack of huskies, we saw how our girls had the ability to overcome! Kathy and her dogs helped build our confidence by providing a safe space. Watching our small girls be unfazed and have playtime with several large dogs within two sessions was so heartwarming!

We found Kathy after recommendation from a friend. We previously went to a dog behaviourist / trainer with not much luck.
We are so thankful we found Kathy! She is hands down the most passionate, beautiful person with so much knowledge. Our golden retriever Marley is a very timid boy around other dogs, Kathy helped us through this by bringing her beautiful huskies out and introducing them all in such a laid back huge space.
She showed us and taught us about the body language and when the right time is to help them out of the situation when they are feeling uncomfortable.
We feel so much more at ease when taking Marley to the beach or park with other dogs and how we go about it.

Kathy is a wonderful person that changed my partner and my life with her guidance on how to manage our 3.5 year old kelpie mix rescue! A total change of our pup's behaviour after the session! She showed us how to walk him around other dogs and moving objects. We were so glad to hear and see that our pup can socialize with other dogs and is good natured, just boisterous when it comes to play. Aside the tools she provided, we know we have to put in the effort too and we saw amazing results!

She is also very invested in our pup's progress and won't hesitate to provide us any feedback and tips along the way. I can't recommend and thank Kathy enough for the amazing journey and experience we had with her!

Kathy is very welcoming and listened to all concerns & worries I had for Otis. The experience seeing Kathy was reassuring to know what I was doing was the right thing to support my reactive 18 month old and brought confidence to myself knowing his reactions are not aggressive towards to other dogs. Otis enjoyed meeting many of Kathy’s dogs and never once had an issue with them, it was great being able to practice approaching multiple different dogs with different personalities. Highly recommend Kathy for anyone who has a reactive dog to put practices in place to ensure you’re doing right by your dog and being able to support them when out and about. I have been making more of an effort to take him to places with other dogs knowing that if I practice and support him we will have no issues out in public.

Kathy is amazing. I was feeling very nervous about helping my 5yo newly adopted Mastiff with her dog reactivity and Kathy put us right at ease (myself and my dog!). She is so knowledgeable, friendly, relaxed and non judgemental. She has a beautiful team of dogs whose personalities helped consider and guide my dog through the doggy interactions. We had already made HUGE progress after our first visit. My dog went from lunging and growling toward any dog she saw, to being able to walk next to and ignore Kathys dogs (and even sniff at each other!). Kathy has given my beautiful dog the opportunity to show her best side and I'm so excited for our future!

Kathy was absolutely amazing and helped our dog overcome his separation anxiety. She went above and beyond to ensure that her recommendations were thorough and tailored specifically to Pablo. Her warm and supportive nature made us feel comfortable and confident to implement the techniques and suggestions she had given us. I highly recommend Kathy!

I had my first session with Kathy about a month a go. WOW! My reactive boy went from loosing it, barking, pulling excessively on the lead at the sight of another dog or kids zooming round on scooters and showing very nervous behaviour with other people walking by, to walking very calmly along side Kathy and 3 of her fur babies (1 at a time not all 3 at once) and displaying the want to socialise and play by the end of it! That was just the first session after I have seen other dog trainers that have failed to help at all and they had 10 straight full days with him! I have gone from not being able to walk my dog at all to walking him daily. I took it slowing picking times I know we won't see many people to build our confidence and put into practice what we have learned and have slowly changed the time to slowly get him use to more happening around him. A few weeks ago I walked him and we had a break through, he didn't react at all at another dog, people walking and a child on a scooter! I was so excited to see what progress we could make in the next session! Today was that day and I am blown away! He learnt that dogs barking at him at first can be scarry but if you take a slow calm approach if both dogs are willing that scary bark can turn out to be all for nothing and he was able to enjoy some on lead play time. That wasn't the best part though today he made a friend! Gargoyle and gorgouse Speedy had a slow introduction, had some on lead play time and they hit it off so well they even got to enjoy some off lead play time! It was so very heart warming to see how happy my boy was playing with another dog! I am proud of my boy! Kathy is so kind, honest, highly knowledgeable, patient and just a straight up amazing person! She empowers you buy being so calming and shows you how to be there for your fur baby in they way they need you specifically (dog whisperer) and it has changed our lives. I can't thank her enough! She very clearly does what she does for the doggos and it shows in the results!

Kathy is so helpful and patient, after only 2 sessions our 4 year old reactive rescue is walking around the neighbourhood without having a complete meltdown any time he is caught off guard by another dog, kids on scooters or cars driving by. Our 1 year old doodle cross came along for session 2 and Kathy gave us some great tips and tricks personalised to both dogs individual needs. I bought Kathy’s stocked slip collars for the pups to help with them yanking against their harnesses and they are a game changer, I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I couldn’t speak higher of Kathy, she has a wealth of knowledge and I really appreciate her using her darling huskies to assist in training with different behaviour types.
