Kathmandu Fremantle reviews
8If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in around 9: 10am no one was in the store only two shop assistants, I was on the hunt for snow/ walking boots I tried a pair on as I was doing so the staff member walked past me twice at this point didn’t offer any help, then I decided to approach them at the front desk where they were discussing whatever it was and then they dispersed once I reached the counter. The service was horrible. Safe to say you just missed out on two purchases one for me and one for my husband. We will go somewhere else.
Just a quick thank you to the girls at Kathmandu Fremantle today. I dropped in to buy a new pair of Keen Newport style sandals. They had my size in stock and were friendly and professional.
I have been wearing this brand and style of sandals for years now and highly recommend them. I always purchase them at Kathmandu and it was a pleasure to do business there again today.
Thanks again to Bronte and Kay for your help. I will always come back for the quality products and excellent customer service.
Keep up the good work,
Robbie
Good enough store for all you need. I am going to Europe including Scandinavia then finishing in Scotland with my 3 teenage sons. We need to get kitted out with backpacks, warm gear etc. I bought 2 backpacks but to be honest no one came and asked if we needed any assistance. If someone had, I would've said yes and got them to help with 2 more backpacks, jackets etc shown me some deals or specials. I would have spent more. Every time I had a question I had to try to find a staff member you gave me a few words and a point. Hardly anyone in the store. I'm 1 single mum with 3 teens and myself to kit out. Staff here have no customer service skills. Lost a big sale. Just a simple "is there anything I can suggest or help you with today" would have been good. But that's staff these days. Almost so unapproachable. If you look like you're going to ask to assistance then literally turn the other way. Don't they realise if I'm buying backpacks and talking about snow, highlands and trekking I may need to buy more things. When you are in the store for a good 20 mins trying on backpacks, looking around for staff, you realise it's gonna take you a long time to learn the store yourself to find where everything is for 4 people to kit out. Very tiring
Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. They listened carefully and gave me the right advice for the best trekking gear and shoes. Very happy and highly recommended!
Not the cheapest but if you like your clothes to last and still look good after many washes then Kathmandu is a good bet.
Went in to buy a polar fleecex, walked out with a pair of shoes as well. Good service and sales by the young guy with the beard. Practical, comfortable, quality, nice stuff. Love the outdoor gear.
Helpful staff just a bit of a wait for query of stock in other stores. Otherwise good customer service.
I went into the Fremantle Kathmandu store after a big drama with an online order not arriving in time for me to fly out. I’d already spoken to Gemma earlier in the week to work out what could be done if it didn’t arrive in time. I went in today with the hope that the hiking gear would be waiting but no luck. Gemma then went through my list of what I needed and very quickly had me fitted with the right sizes, best pieces for the weather I was going into and I was organised and on my way. If it were not for Gemma I’d have ended my shopping relationship with Kathmandu. She is a great ambassador for your brand and I’ll be going back to Freo to have more of this great customer service in the future. Gemma if you’re reading this. Thankyou! You were a lifesaver today. Many thanks:) Meri
