Karri Valley Hideaway reviews
14 The name says it all with these well-maintained cottages tucked away amongst the trees. We spent just two nights in the Settlers cottages and as soon as we walked through the door, we were welcomed with a nice fire roaring and well-presented rooms.
This was our third stay here and every time has been relaxing and worth the return trip.
My husband Phil and I stayed in “The Nest” cabin for a couple of nights. It was exactly what we had hoped for. So clean and relaxing. The spa after a long day sight seeing was just what we needed. The ammenities were great. The King size bed was the most comfortable bed we’d ever slept in. Waking to birds chirping was lovely. Watching Jesse and Frank caring for and feeding the kookaburras, parrots, ducks and kangaroos was sweet. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Jesse and Frank. We had the most peaceful and tranquil time at the Hideaway
The location is absolutely perfect, so tranquil and private, surrounded by the trees and wildlife.
We booked this accommodation for three reasons. 1 - Its pet friendly 2 - The cabin has a spa bath 3 - We love the more simple accommodation and being in the bush.
Unfortunately there were a lot of dead and alive ants, spiders and other insects in the cabin. The bathroom was the worst (attached photos of beside bath, wall above bath and floor tiles). There were so many ants coming through cracks in the silicon around the bath, we decided not to use the spa. One of our main reasons for booking.
There were even 2 dead spiders on the bed
We are very understanding of spiders and other insect being around in accommodation in the bush, but this was way over the top. Especially the amount of dead insect laying around that hadn't been cleaned up.
We ended up having to get the vacuum out and clean a lot of it up our selves.
Apart from the above, we enjoyed our stay.
Hi folks, booked the honeymoon cottage for myself and my partner for a long awaited break away (just us), must say the location was A1 but the cottage was very neglected and lacked regular maintenance my god, I could write a list but wont bother the activity room was a total disaster broken everything inside what a mess, the spa and the excellent bed was the saving grace of the trip, hey Frank and Jesse if you read this its up to you to improve your assent or go under, don't be in this industry if its not your passion, cant recommend this holiday destination until it has improve, well folks don't waste you hard earned cash pick some where else around the lovely Pemberton area
Had a great time here. We stayed in the Settlers cabin, room enough for two with a gorgeous view of the lake, kangaroos, some crazy ducks and more bird wildlife than you could poke a stick at. Free to walk around the grounds and explore the streams that run off of the lake. The cabin was extremely clean, one of the best I have stayed in with everything you could need while away. Will be booking it again when we go back that way ️
Firstly, I wish I had been advised that the road into the place was in such poor repair. As I own a low-slung sports car, it wasn't ideal. We arrived to find our cabin extremely cold n area around fireplace very wet. All windows and sliding doors open plus it smelled very musty. Took a while to get fire going, wood wet. No oven, bench oven only upon request. Found more moisture on the skirting boards beneath beds in both rooms. Left after only one night of a five night stay.
Won't be returning nor recommending anytime soon. A shame really.beautiful location
The rooms are a bit aged but this place is in an amazing setting and good value. We're stayed here for a night and walked to the nearby resort for dinner. We had a great experience and will be going back.
Cheerful hosts. Forest surrounding. Peaceful atmosphere. Everything is spotlessly clean but chalets a little tired. Lots of wildlife up to the cabins. Good walking trails. Beds comfortable. Pets allowed.
Amazing spot central to day trips to southern region of WA would stay here again on next trip also good for families thank you Kerri Valley Hideaway Cottages xo
In a very beautiful part of the world you will find Karri Valley Hideaway Cottages. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the setting stunning. It was one of the most relaxing stays I've had for a long time.
Beautiful & tranquil location. Great chalets with everything u need. Loved the log fire and spa bath. Definately coming back one day
Such a hidden gem! We had a fantastic 1 night stay, just wished it was for longer! The cabins have everything you could possiably need, and the wood fire and electric blanket were perfect for the stormy night. Beautiful decor and the view from the balcony is amazing! We were able to take our dog, which was great. Will definitely be back!
Loved the Forest, sitting on the wooden deck overlooking nature. Hot tub. What more could you want. Relaxation
