Karri Mia Bungalows

We are definitely coming back here. What a beautiful view every morning. Chalets are spacious with each room having an on suite. Games room gave the boys pool and table tennis comps while we sat back on the veranda overlooking the valley, Wilson Inlet and Southern Ocean.

We had a great time here. Our chalet was clean, spacious and good views. The bonus thing is it’s pet friendly. We couldn’t find a pet sitter but the manager’s lovely children agreed at short notice to look after our puppy for us while we exploring Denmark. We definitely will book this place again

Amazing location and view. Room clean and very nice and bed so relaxing. Spa was also amazing. The area is nice and quiet and not too far from Denmark. Staff at reception are very friendly and happy to help. Would definitely stay again.

Second time staying at these immaculately clean chalets. We were surprised with a spa upgrade for our little winter getaway weekend. It was a very cold, wintery couple of days so the heated mattress topper was very appreciated and the kitchen had everything we needed to have our own breakfasts and dinners. The views as you are on top of Mt Shadworth are amazing, the owners are a lovely couple and I know if we had any issues (we didnt) they would have sorted it straight away. Thoroughly recommend.

Karri Mia was the most incredible chalet I’ve experienced. I was so humbled by the small touches in the room, it was the perfect place to escape unwind yet feel at home. The property was impeccable and views were out of this world. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the most wonderful 3 night stay in an Ocean View Studio. It was perfect with a king size bed, spa, comfy seating area and cosy gas fire, not to mention the stunning views out over the inlet and ocean. Karri Mia is also well located being only a short drive from town, wineries and other attractions. Chimes day spa next door was also fabulous. Everything from booking to check out was first class. Thank you Rheannon and Dave. We can't wait to return!

Lovely dog-friendly accommodation in Denmark. Close to town, almost next door to a couple of very good restaurants and wineries and beautiful views.

Brilliant! Magnificent location with extraordinary views, self contained, comfortable and well-appointed. Restaurant on-site is also exceptional and it’s great value.

They charged us $30 for not drying up the dishes.jacuzzi “Brown” water is so itchy aswell!

Karri Mia Chalets are absolutely gorgeous! Exquisitely presented and everything was perfect! Our hosts Yvette and Jem are genuinely beautiful people and so welcoming and attentive. You could not get a nicer couple to assist you with your vacation. They made our stay perfect in every way! Thank you so much both of you!

Breathtaking views with lovely, clean, comfortable accomodation. Stayed in the chalet with spa and it was absolutely stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our little stay & hope to return soon.:)

Very nice place to stay. Great views with clean and well appointed studios. Quiet and relaxing, and only minutes from the Denmark town centre. Stay a few times now and has been an joy each time.

Beautiful, clean accommodation and an added bonus that we could bring our dog with us! The owners were very helpful and communication was good before our stay. The views from the spa studios are incredible and it is just such a peaceful place for a relaxing getaway. Thanks Karri Mia, we will definitely be back.

After a day out exploring this amazing part of WA’s coast, we sat on the deck taking in the panoramic views for hours on end, watching the birds and soaking up the tranquility, pure bliss, with a glass of local red in hand of course.

Manager Yvette, was so helpful finding us a chalet at the last minute, sending us welcome emails and the best of all turning the heater on for our late arrival, so we walked into a lovely cosy warm chalet and finally waving us good bye as we left, the best service I’ve had anywhere! Very personal service 10/10

The chalet was very clean, modern, comfortable, spa, full kitchen and large fridge.

Can’t wait till our next visit.

Enjoying the wonderful Karri Mia studio spa unit. I originally booked Friday and Saturday nights to stay here with my partner for a relaxing weekend away. Unfortunately my FIFO flight from Newman was cancelled on the Thursday night flight due to a technical issue on the Qantas Link plane and couldn't get another flight until Friday night which made my reservation for Friday redundant at Karri Mia. I rang the manager Yvette at the reception to let her know I couldn't make it down on Friday with an explanation and asked if it was possible to get a credit for the night for another night for another weekend and at first she explained it wasn't the policy of the company but rang back within 5 minutes of speaking to her and she sympathised with my unfortunate situation and offered to let me move my reservation forward so it was for Saturday and Sunday nights for which I extremely grateful. Unit is very neat clean, tidy and tastefully furnished with 5 star views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place even though the weather was wet, wild and windy. I highly recommend Karri Mia to anyone.

Perfect place to unwind. Enjoyed a relaxing couple of nights in one of the 'adults only', dog friendly bungalows. As much as we love children, we were looking for a peaceful, quiet place to de-stress and this did not disappoint. The views are magnificent, the rooms themselves are clean, comfortable and were as if no animals had ever stepped foot in the room. It smelled of jasmine (my fave), had a gas fireplace, a giant spa and an ultra comfy bed. It was total comfort. The clean-up rules and dog rules are fairly strict, but I guess when you want to bring a dog to a nice place, it makes sense, so we were not fussed. The colour of the water is nothing to fear either, it's simply rainwater. There were no cooking facilities in our bungalow, but the option to go to the restaurant (not open every day) or use the BBQ was there with the most spectacular view and undercover blocking the wind. We would absolutely go again

The bungalows are located about 10 minutes from Denmark town along winding Karri tree lined roads. The bungalows are set high on Mt Stratham overlooking the inlet. Spectacular sweeping views to the south. The inside are modest yet tastefully decorated. Getting a little tired but the basics are there. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Stung $50 cancellation fee for booking 4.5 months away over busy holiday period when room will easily rebook.
