Karin's Hair and Barber Shop

I have been getting hair done by Karin for over 6 years. Karin is absolutely fantastic in her work, she does her work professionally and patiently. She always attends her clients with a big smile and makes sure they are well communicated about the process.

I have finally found the perfect hairdresser who understands curly hair! Karin is professional, knowledgeable, talented and a super lovely person to boot. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a quality experience.

My 13yo daughter had a wash and style cut here for the first time. My daughter loves her new haircut and had several compliments on her new style. She will be back!

I Call them for a price for a men's standard hair cut, a little to expensive, you can get the same hair cut much cheaper elsewhere.

Very upsetting experience…was quoted $80 for permanent colour for short hair, didn’t want a blow dry or anything else because was a bit short of funds on the day. Ended up doing semi permanent which should have been cheaper anyway. After the colour Karin said she’ll do a little trim. Took no more then 2 minutes and has cut off literally the tiniest bit of hair in just two places. There was a tiniest pinch of hair on the floor, and I got charged $60 extra for that “trim”. Feel so ripped off! You can’t do that Karin! You need to tell your customer that this would cost extra, and how much extra! You took my budget for medication with that trim! Watch your karma return to you, cheated customers certainly won’t!
Now I can say not only the colour was nothing like what was requested, it turned dull after 2 weeks and faded after only4 weeks leaving my hair looking awful. I have never had a colour done at the salon that was so bad. A home job turned out much better than this one.
I don’t like writing negative reviews like this and never had before, but I felt I just had to this time. The colour chosen was dark reddish brown, it turned out dull black and faded to dark, dull grey. (I don’t have any grey hair) You must be using the cheapest, crappiest stuff available Karin, and charging way too much for it. Not fare!

I'm very happy with the service and quality of the cut provided to me. The Barber really takes the time to provide quality in his cuts and genuinely cares for the end product produced.

Quite hard to find people that take pride in their work and this is definitely one of them.

Have been seeing the barber Albi here for years. The guy really understands men's hair and keeps up with the latest trends in style and how to cut. I'm a difficult customer and Albi handles whatever i ask for with ease and professionalism. One of the few people that can cut my hair the way I like it.

Karin is a great host at the salon - always pleasant and cheerful on the phone and always has a warm and friendly greeting. I always see her clients leaving smiling and happy.

I visited Karen yesterday and could not have been happier with my hair cut. She is great at giving advice and leaves it to you whether you want to go with her suggestions. Unfortunately, I found the cut did not last very long. In fact, in less than four weeks it was needing to be cut again and quickly lost its style.

Wow, Karin is a true hair professional. A sensational hair cut, frankly the best I've had since 1992! I've had good hairdressers since, but Karin is exceptional! And this if from a former chair of the Hairdresser's Registration Board!

Karin finally gave me the style I had been wanting for years where no other hairdresser could. Thank you Karin, everyone loved my new haircut.
