I purchased my wedding dress earlier this year from KWH Bridal, and it was one of my favourite wedding planning moments.
Victoria was so brilliant, she takes the time to listen and totally understood what I was looking for.
The dresses are so beautiful and the off the rack dress I ended up with was just perfect. And the last minute suggestion of the gloves by Victoria, just made this the dress of my dreams.
I will always recommend KWH Bridal and Victoria x

I got married earlier this year and purchased my gown from KWH Perth. Victoria was wonderful to deal with from the very moment I first stepped into the store while exploring wedding dress options.
Victoria was accommodating and helpful, I also managed to find the most beautiful dress for my special day, and try on a variety of exquisite & unique gowns.
Karen Willis Holmes gowns are truly special and luxe. Such a treat to wear on such a special day, thank you so much!

I had the most beautiful experience with the team at KWH Perth but a special mention has to go out to Victoria who didn’t make me feel like any other client but rather a friend! I felt so comfortable from my first appointment all the way until my second and final fitting. The dress was perfect and I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did in my Taryn Camille! Highly recommend the beautiful team at KWH!

I had a great experience bridal shopping at Karen Willis Holmes Perth. I was the last appointment of the day but Victoria was so welcoming and helpful even after such a busy Saturday. Victoria took the time to get to know me and our wedding plans and made the experience very personalised. I definitely recommend going with an open mind and trying on different suggestions, the dress I fell in love with is not what I originally pictured for myself. Karen Willis Holmes dresses and fabrics felt so luxurious and there was a wonderful range to try. Definitely 5 star experience. Thank you Victoria and the KWH team.

Couldn’t recommend Victoria at Karen Willis Holmes enough! From start to finish she worked with me to make my vision a reality. From the start design I requested a full custom dress and gave Victoria the design I wanted to achieve. She worked with me to custom a sleeve and style thé back of the dress as I envisioned. Thank you so much Vic, it was perfect xx

I would like to thank Alanna for her amazing customer service. She made my best friend feel so special when finding her wedding dress. The only negative thing was the older lady who talked over us and made us feel uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is trying to find their dream dress.

Such a great experience at Karen Willis Holmes!
I had obsessed over the entire collection online and when I tried on my favourites, ended up with 2 dresses to choose between that I both completely adored.

Allanah was so lovely and helpful every step of the way and in the end helped me pick out my dream dress. I loved it soooo much:) Thankyou girls for everything!

When we contacted Karen Willis Holmes to book an appointment, we were advised that we had to pay $50 for an appointment. This fee is not refundable even if you attend the appointment and do not find a dress you like - you are essentially paying to enter the shop. You are welcome to attend the store for free within opening hours however if no consultant is available, you then have to book an appointment, pay the fee and return a second time. I'm not sure I agree with this practice in an age where retail continues to struggle in Perth. There are plenty of other businesses who do not charge for appointments. Given the cost of weddings, charging $50 is extremely inconsiderate to customers and I cannot in good conscious visit a shop that has this policy.

In the spirit of openness and honesty, the fee is fully refundable IF you find and purchase a dress - however in my view that’s borderline extortion (an opinion based on my understanding of the non customer centric business practice). And whilst I understand that cancellations and changed appointments impact your business, my advice to you if you would like to charge a fee, is that this should only be charged if a customer misses an appointment or changes an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

We were disappointed, took our business else where and my fiancé purchased a dress at Bridal by Aubrey Rose instead.

I purchased the Anya gown with the Diamonds Train through Karen Willis Holmes Perth. I absolutely loved this dress and felt like a goddess on my wedding day. It was elegant and beautifully made. I couldn't have been happier.

My experience in store was excellent. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and I was made to feel special and important when I was in the store.

All of the correspondence over the email has been fantastic. Responses have always been so fast a thorough and I truly appreciated how much I could rely on communication with them - most of which was post-sales (eg.assistance with important information to pass on to the dry cleaner)

Thank you KWH for being one of the many positive experiences that I have had throughout the organisation of my wedding. You've been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I wish there were 6 stars!

I cannot thank the entire KWH team (and especially Alanna) enough for the amazing customer service I received from you all!
From the moment I called H/O enquiring about the Diamond Train that I had fallen in love with, you all bent over backwards to help me out and in the end make sure my bridal look dream was a reality!

As soon as I put the sample train on I knew it was exactly what I was searching for to feel like ME!
I cannot count the number of compliments I received for it. The reaction from my husband when he saw me for the first time and walked me down the aisle was priceless!

With only 2 weeks to go before my wedding day, the Diamond Train was ordered in my size and Express posted so I would have it the week before my wedding. No stress, no attitude, no bridal industry nonsence!

Thank you for making me feel so incredibly beautiful on our special day!
I cannot recommend you all at KWH enough!
Genuine rockstars!

When I first started researching wedding dresses I instantly fell in love with Karen's designs and truly hoped that I would find what I was looking for from the boutique in Perth.
When I walked into the shop I instantly felt at ease. I loved the style, look and feel of the gowns, especially the quality of the material.
My dress was classic, yet simple and sophisticated. I ended up going for a two piece due to the fact that I liked the skirt of one of the dress's and requested that it be made for a two piece.
I would highly recommend making Karen Holmes your first visit:)

Worst experience ever.

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Karen Willis Holmes. I would not recommend them to anyone. The manager (also the manager from Zanzis Bridal) was extremely rude and made me feel completely put down and small. After reading reviews online I realise it seems like its the Zanzis store manger that is the problem.

Her first words to me at my fitting were "you couldn't have picked a worse pair of underwear". Turns out it wasn't the underwear it's just the shape of my hips. When I made any queries about the fit or parts of the dress I was told that it either had to be that way or because my dress wasn't custom that those parts could not be altered. I should note after taking my detailed measurements my dress took 6 months to make in Melbourne and with a cost of almost $4,000 you would think they could get the fit a little bit right (so much for supporting Australian designers and Australian made dresses).

I brought up my concerns after my first fitting with the store, I was told that I should have spoken up on the day and they can only fix what I bring to their attention. I thought I did bring things to their attention (but after being told off, ignored and basically talked out of anything I questioned it was a bit disheartening to continue to try). You would have thought as seasoned professionals they would be able to immediately see any issues with the fit of a dress and put forward ideas to fix it. Again I was told the dress was not custom and is made to a particular size only.

When I collected my dress I was able to try it on again, there was one issue but apparently it was done that way to fix another issue and they had left belt loops on the dress they were meant to remove.

I took the dress to a alterations shop (within 15 minutes of picking up my dress from KWH) to adjust a lace KWH top I was adding (the KWH store did not have time do this). The alterations store has bright white lighting and when I tried on my dress I found so many issues, some of which were:
- "bubbles" in the fabric at the back near my waist - from the way the fabric had been cut
- the lining wasn't long enough (so it created a shadow under the dress)
- it was covered in wrinkles
- it was dirty! (I was not wearing any make-up and had scrubbed my hands before attending KWH and re-wiped them with baby wipes on arrival).

I had to pay to get these issues fixed and they were able to alter issues I had asked KWH about but had been told "no" to due to it not being a "custom" dress.

After having the dress altered through the alterations store I brought up my concerns with the KWH head office but was told I should have spoken up sooner and it then became a she said/she said experience. I was told that the $495 fitting cost was for hemming only and any other changes made by them were a bonus.

The lighting in the KWH store is low/yellow "mood lighting" and I was told it is that way because it is more flattering and hides any flaws on the brides. If the lighting had been bright the issues would have been seen before leaving with the dress. I'm not sure what bride gets married or has photos taken in low light.

I am so glad I discovered the issues and was able to have them rectified before my wedding day otherwise it truly would have ruined this magical day for me.
