Kanta Japanese Kitchen reviews
46Not recommend at all. Karage and Katu were gresily and smellt oil. California roll didn't have enough crab meat, it was like a avocado roll. Oyakodon was uncooked. Will never go back again.
Authentic little place hidden away in Langford. You can get dishes not normally served by typical Japanese takeaways. The grilled squid is amazing! Just wish the prices were a bit lower.
Have been dining here for the last 12 years and the simple but consistent flavours is why it to always be my favourite Japanese joint. Family favourites are: Agedashi Tofu (best Agedashi in.ever) chicken Bento Box, grilled salmon, actually ALL of it! Thank you for the soul filling meals over the years, looking forward to many more meals there
Amazing Fresh, Delicious and very friendly staff!
Worth the $ and never been disappointed.
Highly recommend!
Definitely NOT as good as some of the reviews said. Sushi was pretty average with non-consistant sizes. Very coarsely prepared and cut. You can tell that the sushi was made in a rush! Ordered few dishes, nothing stands out. Service was not as warm as other Japanese restaurant. Overall, it is not a restaurant that we would visit too soon again.
Lovingly prepared by a cute Japanese couple. The food is as Japanese as it gets in Perth. I love the grilled beef tongue dish.
One of the best Authentic Japanese restaurant in WA. Food always consistent with one highly skilled chef to run the place! Definitely give it a try if you are in the area. My personal favourite is the Chicken Katsu Curry
Guys I asked you to NOT put roe on my chicken bento as I am allergic to seafood and you ignored your uber eats notes! I am not happy!
Best Japanese food in Perth! I’ve been to a lot of other Japanese restaurants in Perth and Kanta is Top. Reliably consistent quality with the menu. Value for money. No frills or fusion just good eats.
Excellent food and service. Agadashi tofu, beautifully done. I bought some of their green tea to take away with me too.
The food was amazing. We even enjoyed food we don't usually eat. And the prices are really good. 10/5
Have been a customer for over 10 years. Consistently the best sushi I've ever had along with amazing Teriyaki Beef. Highly recommended!
10 years eating at this joint and they never disappoint. As soon as we walk in they know the wife's order. She reckons its the best agedashi tofu she's ever had. Simple but mastered menu. Same chef = consistency. Such a mint lil joint.
Delicious and authentic Japanese food.
The kamo steak really good and the freshness of chirashi sushi make the seafood taste great!
Love this place I'm a regular here. Food is always fresh and very tasty. The staff are friendly too great service.
An authentic Japanese restaurant. The food really good. The agedashi tofu very soft but firm makes it perfect! The grill scallop wrap with salmon is make our day and the kamo steak (duck steak) is something different but delicious! Well done Kanta!
Great little casual Japanese place.authentic Japanese chef.and family business.so everything is well presented and excellent for the price.my family and friends are Japanese and they all come here to eat!
Lovingly prepared by a cute Japanese couple. The food is as Japanese as it gets in Perth. I love the beef tongue dish.
Been here twice, the first time the husband and wife team was very polite and courteous food service was at par. But 2nd time around, the service attendant who was wearing a Casio G-Shock, Crocs slippers and short hair needs to go back to bootcamp for retraining. No manners, argues with customer who requested to move to another table and argued again when meal came out incorrect, management should be wary about it as these are red flags that can ruin a good business.
