Bed bugs! Seemed like a nice place until one I woke up one morning with all my feet covered in bites from bed bugs!

It's nice place, I stayed 10 nights there. Big kitchen, clean bathroom and nice basement area (lounge). Bed mattress are amazing, like a 4 star hotel! Super friendly staff! Will be better to don't put tourists and workers in the same dorm room, because people who stayed there for long time and work makes rooms very messy and when tourists came in the room is very disappointed! Also need to improve WiFi!

Although it was a backpackers hotel, the room is comfortable. Ealking distance to cafes & tourist attractions.

Great place to stay. Amazing vibes, made some great friends. The night manager is freaking awesome! Make sure you say hi to him when you're there. His name is Sam.

I've been to this hostel a few times over the years. I could very well talk about the positive things about this place but I can't. I am exhausted at the wifi not working. "wifi is provided but NOT guaranteed". You know what that means? They can do better and they DON'T CARE. I'd rather pay for wifi than having to go in the streets of Perth to use the city wifi or to Dome or to the library (or at least don't falsely advertise something that ISNT available 99% of the time). What I believe is that the people running this place know that the quality of their facilities is overall better than the similar hostels. Hence them not putting effort into fixing the damn wifi. You have to go the basement to be able to load an internet page. Do something?

I have stayed in Kangaroo inn for many times, its location is perfect, plus friendly staff and nice environment. I always book on their website which is the best price.

Clean rooms - cheap, six bed dorms, I opted for 2 bed share room and coz it was quiet, had it all to myself. Clean comfy bed - close by female bathroom (or male), Staff were really nice and helpful. V large lounge and kitchen with huge fridges in the basement. Other guests friendly and chatty - a French guy was makinng pancakes for everyone.

I stayed at this place looking at the good reviews online but its very misleading.
Dirty bathrooms (worms in the shower), the kitchen is always full of unwashed dishes, lazy staff and on top of it all there is No Wifi or internet here. Every other hostel is offering free Wifi, why would somebody stay here?

Comfortable bed in a dorm, with excellent facilities and friendly attentive staff with an excellent location to top the experience off.

This backpacker is great and clean and located in CBD area so it makes your trip in Perth easier. However, they have another gate to a kitchen and common area from outside and they didn't lock the gate up so I saw a few homeless people and aborigins use the place and walk around. For just in case, the gate should be locked up for our safe stay since this inn is not a public place.

Very comfortable bed. Well equipped share bathroom with hair dryer. An excellent kitchen with fully equipped microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, cooking utensils, (you name it). But not appreciate by some of the guests whom did not wash up after used. This spoils but need to wait for the staff to clean up during office hours.
Good security, main and back doors are locked after reception closed and only can be opened with room card. Very convenient to get food nearby, such as 7-11, McD, Woolworth supermarket.
Bus stops and train station going to anywhere in town is a walking distance. Definitely worth the money.

Cheap and clean facilities and rooms. Plenty to do if staying in or plenty to do if going out as it's right in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly, roomies were cool. Great back packers to stay

My time there was very good, all the staff are always very friendly and helpful, toilets are cleaned daily, kitchen too, everything in order. Just the internet that is temperamental
