Kalgan Retreat

We had a beautiful stay recently. The unit was clean, spacious and homely. Internet was speedy enough for teens to be content in the evening after enjoying time feeding the menagerie of farm animals. Nestled in nature made for a peaceful break from with a just a short scenic drive away from town. Thank you. We’ll be back

We had a fantastic time at the retreat! The chalets are lovely and modern, and the fenced in area for our dog was secure enough for us to leave her for the day so that we could go and be tourists for a bit!
The baby goats and horses were a highlight for my son (4y) who demanded to see them every day, and the river access was a nice bonus too (tho our fishing attempts didn’t go too well)
It was really nice to be able to go away and take our 4-legged family member as well

Wonderful location, beautiful setting and spacious chalet. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our dog was accommodated and able to be off lead in is his run, whilst we explored Albany's National Parks.
I highly recommend to anyone, even if you do not have a dog.

I cannot recommend staying at Kalgan Retreat enough. Set in peaceful countryside, it was an incredible place to stay. The facilities supplied for both people and animal alike are fabulous. It is so hard to find an accommodation that truly is pet friendly, particularly for a larger dog. Kalgan Retreat truly fits as a perfect place to holiday with your fur babies. It's facilities ensured that not only we had a fantastic holiday, but also our very spoilt puppy had a fantastic holiday too.

The Kalgan retreat is wonderful. Very quiet, well located and well appointed dog friendly place. The dog runs are very good and secure. Fourth great stay with more to come.

Wonderful location and fantastic amenities. My eldest loved the kayaks. My youngest loved the alpaca and the John Deere tractor in the shed. Perfect for our group of 5: 3 adults and 2 kids.
So spacious inside, beds very comfortable and kitchen well appointed.
Hope to be back again!

Fabulous getaway, friendly host and farm animals, close to Albany and Denmark, relaxing, comfortable chalet for a family. Great, safe facilities for taking your dog. Highly recommended! We will be back!

We have stayed at Kalgan Retreat twice with our fur baby and can't recommend this beautiful accommodation highly enough. Often when you travel with your dog you have to settle for less than ideal accommodation. Not so here. The accommodation is spacious, spotless and modern. Bianca obviously takes great pride in her property and has a real love of animals.

The property is only 20 minutes out of Albany but is lovely and tranquil with access to the river, great walks and extremely cute resident farm animals.

The spacious full size kitchen provides the option to self cater and dine in if you want - plus outdoor BBQ options, or alternatively it is not a long drive in to Albany to try out the many restaurant options.

It was wonderful to be able to have our very spoiled dog stay inside with us (just not on the furniture or in the carpeted bedrooms which is entirely reasonable and is what really helps ensure the property stays looking and smelling as great as it does!)

The secure fenced yard with the accommodation allows you peace of mind that your dog can go for a good run around without fear of running away if they are not so great with recall.

Kalgan Retreat was so relaxing and peaceful, from the creek to the horses we had a great time.
Accommodation was fantastic, very homely and stylish, great place for us to take our dog and relax. Recommend anyone to go their. Dogs have their own fenced run for security.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation. Close to Albany and near all the beaches and hiking trails one can wish for.

Was such a pleasure staying at this lovley accommodation on such a beautiful property. Bianca and her husband were such lovley hosts. We highly recommend this retreat, and what makes it even better is that doggos are welcome

Arriving at Kalgan Retreat was like arriving home. Very clean and all the amenities a perfect holiday house needs, from the views to the gardens and down to the river. Thank you for wonderful accommodation.
