Kalbarri Boat Hire and Canoe Safaris

Jason was a great guide, highly recommended the Canoe Safari experience with a small group. Good amount of time out on the water and a great breakfast cook up!

Avoid the 4 SEATER  PEDAL BOAT. It needs maintenance urgently. I had to help out a young family who did not speak English well. Sure take a phone but tell them or provide them with a waterproof phone case that floats! When I picked up the family they were stressed and tired, they were definitely having no fun. I think the most exciting part for them was when I got them back to shore. They also lost their phone overboard. So a very expensive trip for them.

They had been trying to flag someone for 10mins until I paddled out to them.

Also, I hopped in the boat to peddle it myself. Hence my honest opinion it needs maintenance. It isn't easy to pedal at all and I have outstanding leg strength and youth and even I found it very difficult.

Some days are going to be better than others but this particular day it was slightly windy and once you go 20 meters from shore it can be hard to peddle.

This was a nightmare, We start of with a 20 min drive to the starting point but then we get in our canoe for 40 min with no instructions on how to row, then the mud there was atrocious and I almost slipped, We then ate a lovely breakfast but the we had to canoe for about 2.5 km to another Destination, it was not enjoyable for us but if your willing to give it ago by all means

Great experience! Hire a canoe with my partner this morning. View is fabulous on the boat. And Jason is a super friendly guy and BBQ king. Gave us a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend!

Super morning activity, Jason our guide was laidback and helpful. We had a cool off road drive to the river a great breakfast and lots of fun. We also saw emus and pelicans. Come along and support this local business.

We stopped in Kalbarri for a week during our Oz travels, and hiring these boats definitely one of the highlights. We were allowed to to bring our dog with us who had a absolute ball as well. Cruised around, bit of fishing stopped over the other side for lunch and swim. Will def do this again next time we're over this beautiful side of Australia.

Easy enough to hire a boat or kayak.
We hired a kayak for an hour and that was enough time to do a lap and spend 10-15 mins on the beach of the other side. Good workout:)

We were in Kalbarri last week for the first time with our kids. We wanted to hire the boat. The first day we got there late in the afternoon and they closed an hour earlier than their closing time. That was fine. We would come back the following day. The next day we got there after lunch and they were completely closed! Before 2pm. Weather was magic, hardly any wind & we Disappointed kids as we decided to have lunch before we hired the boat. We dialled the number and the lady said they closed early because they had no customers. For a company that won’t let you Pre-book a boat- and says open daily- this was very frustrating and disappointing. If you want to close due to no customers- then at-least have the option of Pre-booking OR come down when someone calls and says they are here ready to go. They get 2 stars- only because their prices seemed fair- but just another business that doesn’t need customer support and wasted a lot of our time.

Adrian was good fun and ensured we had a great time. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Kalbarri.

This was a fantastic experience. Great way to view the river and have a fish. You can stop have a picnic and explore the landscape. Saw goats, eagles, kangaroos and many other birds. Kids loved it.

Hired a powerboat for an hour to pootle up and down the river for an hour (family of 5). Fun, noisy, we loved it

Highly recommend. Adrian was a fantastic host who cooked a great breakfast and had a fabulous rapport with all on the tour especially the kids. Very fun experience for adults and kids alike

Very good scenic views. As we went during late October, wasn't busy and allowed us 15min extra ride in the paddle boat.

Dan was terrific, and cooks a great brekky. I enjoyed the 4wding and liked that it was a self guided tour for the canoes. So beautiful out on the water.

Really enjoyed, knew it was a winner when we booked when breakfast was included. Perfect on a cool morning and lovely paddling down the river. Good amount of breaks throughout meaning suitable for any ages. It’s clear it’s been well planned and done many times yet Dan showed interest in the group and was a great guide. Thank you!

Operator is a champ. Let the kids swim around in the life jackets after a perfect dinghy hire. A1

Nice trip, but expected more of the canoe trip, story's and pictures looked more special then it was in my opinion.
