"Tonight I forgot to take phone with me to the bathroom, wanting to use the toilet.
Lid and seat were open, not flushed from person before, disgusting, urine all over top front of the porcilane and floor in front of the WC bowl.
Pressed the nurses button. Waited 10+ minutes with my "urge" getting more noticeable.
I put on the blue gloves and ripped a "wipes" pack open and cleaned all I could, including the "safety-handrails", shut the seat and lid, then flushed 2 full times.
Then got the paper "towels" and wiped all again. Took off the gloves, and dropped all the cleaning stuff in middle of the floor which also was totally wet same as as the shr chair +.
The previous users used incontinence "undies" which were on the other wet chair hanging " loose".

Then I washed my hands, and attended to my own needs.

Finally the "nurse" arrived, and I did "let her have it" with an apology in case it was NOT HER responsibility after the use by the previous man.

It has happened before, but NEVER as disgusting as this.

So disappointed not being able to take the "evidence".
Who would believe me? They would have lied if questioned as they did before when an elderly nurse ripped my walker away from behind to stop me walking with the physeo lady.
Whose word do you think would be taken as the truth?

I am glad they got me out of here even if only for that.

At Juniper Hay Loft I have my own room and ensuite.

The hospice, doctors and nurses are lovely and caring and do everything they can to help and comfort the dying. I cannot thank them enough for taking in my mother and helping in her last days.

I do think the law needs to be changed to stop people having to watch their loved ones fighting death with every breath for 3 days, but these nurses do the very best they can within the law.

Absolutely the best available facility for communication and efficiency and safety. Arrived as a public patient for a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy procedure at 8am and was on my way home by 11.30am. The pre op procedure communication and advice was exceptional and this was my 5th proceedure and 3rd as a public patient.

Going for a procedure at Kalamunda Hospital yesterday was a lovely (rare for hospital stays) experience. The doctors, nurses & staff are so kind and caring & very professional. Informing patients of everything that's going on with words of kindness, every step of the way. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Thanks so much!

I write this review with much love and gratitude - this beautiful little hospital and it's staff are very very understated.
As a palliative care Hospice Kalamunda Hospital is second to none. Absolutely wonderful staff and medical team who wholeheartedly and so kindly cared for my Dad in his last days.
Kalamunda Hospital deserves to be recognized and to be given all the funding they need. Such an important place for so many. <3

Every staff member cooks, cleaners, volunteers, medical officers, the OT and Physio Staff, the Nurses and the clerical staff are true carers. I want to go here when my time is up! I cannot fault the place at all! Kindness and understanding goes a long way.don't stop what you are doing.

Hi,
Could you please forward this email onto Management & Staff at Kalamunda Hospital please.
I had a Gastroscopy on Friday 8th October and wanted to give positive feedback and my compliments of my experience.
From checking in with the lady at admin to walking out of Kalamunda Hospital after my procedure i felt that the personnel at this hospital where of high value and caring staff.
The nurse's where extremely competent, and the anesthetists and Dr advised what was involved in my procedure which allayed any anxiety i may have had prior to my procedure.
From checking in to checking out after my procedure was only 3.5 hours. The Hospital staff are to be congratulated on 5 star treatment and the passion they have for Kalamunda Hospital and patients who they care for
Kind Regards.

I had a procedure on Friday Oct 1 and can't speak more highly of everyone who looked after me. From the person that did the admission papers (a lovely lady from, I think, NZ) to the nurses, doctors, etc, everyone was professional but also polite and friendly, always with a smile on their faces. There was a young guy, I think he's a nursing student, who was also very helpful, bringing warm blankets and making sure everyone was okay. Excellent service all around, thanks so much!

I go to use the Perth Radiology part of the hospital. Its very handy to where I live, and a lot easier for me to get there.
Always very respectful people who work there.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to use there services.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough.
A recent colonoscopy appointment caused me some anxiety but the kindness, care and attention of everyone involved in my procedure made the whole experience, inexplicably, a pleasure!
Without doubt the most wonderful staff I have ever come across in any hospital in my 70 years.
Should I ever in the future be given a choice of hospital to attend to my needs……. You’re the guys, no contest.
Bravo lovely people & thankyou so so much.
You should be proud of the way you care for & treat your patients.
Take a bow ️

Today I had Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy procedures and I can't thank you enough to everyone.
The way doctors and nurses were treating me made me feel very grateful towards them. Even in Administration and also the lady who was cleaning the area from early morning and was kind to the patients.
Really appreciate it
