Kalamunda GP Super Clinic

Not the same place it was a year ago or so. Would’ve given this place 5 stars then but maybe 2 now. Likely be my last visit.

No longer bulk billed. Very sad to hear. A lot of struggling people depend on this service and it’s what makes Australia such a good place to live. A shame but not surprised.

Speaking of, my last appointment I was unaware of this change and had only been asked if I had concessions which didn’t explicitly tell me regular patients were bulk billed now. Got met with a pretty sarcastic impatient toned reply that it had changed recently as I was leaving. Think I’d feel more welcomed as Zelenskyy visiting Russia. Not good as this position really leaves a first and last impression on the place.

Shout out to the docs (Dr Ravi) and nurses though who are actually nice to deal with. Appointments generally good with times.

Feel this place has gone downhill for a couple of reasons and it feels bad seeing this happen.

Friendly, professional staff, knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. Keep up the good work!

We used to go here all the time it was great when it was bulk billing because it was free you get what you get. But now they charge couldn't possibly imagine going and paying for terrible service start to finish.

Honestly had a terrible experience here, and I highly doubt I’ll ever be back! Booked 3 weeks in advance for a procedure, went in on the day and the nurse was nice enough! Waited a while longer for the doctor, and she was terrible! She said that they won’t do the procedure on that day (with no real reason why, just that she wants to do it a different day which is quite annoying because I’d taken the time off of work). She then talked about she how wasn’t sure if she’d be able to complete the procedure which isn’t helpful at all and just put doubt in my mind… no one wants to hear that a doctor will give it a shot but might not be able to do it? I’d already let the nurse know I was anxious, and I just feel like the doctor was not helpful and reassuring at all! She then proceeded to tell me that my BMI was high and I was fat even though that had nothing to do with anything? I ended up paying $70 for “we’ll do this another day, I might not be able to do it though, and you’re fat”? I don’t mind paying for services, but what on earth did I pay for there? I ended up cancelling my next appointment because there was no way I was going to let an unsure doctor work on me…

I’ve had a couple of average experiences with GP’s here, but I am so glad I found Dr Jonathan Perez Martinez!
He is kind, caring and knowledgeable, and makes you feel heard. If you want someone who’s into preventative health and also listens, I would definitely recommend Dr Martinez.

The receptionist has a very objectionable personality. She becomes immediately defensive when i am anxious, unwell and am not happy. The doctors are nice, but this lady is horrible. It would not hurt her to smile at patients and try harder to problem solve, rather than tell me that "it is out of our hands" which she has said more than once. I am on workers comp right now and have a certificate from dr Moosani that covers me until the 8th of Feb. The clinic changed my appointment to the 9th, as he apparently has changed his days of attendance. This affects greatly the continuation of my benefit. This is all ok as I'm sure that the matter can be easily fixed, however rather than problem solve, this sour defensive individual repeatedly said that the doctor has changed his days and it is out of her hands. When i then asked her if she could contact my dr and let him know my predicament, her response was "ok then, i will try to contact him and tell him you are unhappy" is this for real!? I have lived in Kalamunda for 50 years and have only recently changed my doctor, due to the practice closing. This woman makes me very unsettled and i don't like coming to this practice as a result. I, myself, work for the health department and understand that staff sometimes experience unacceptable levels of hostility, but the defensive and sour attitude that i have experienced from this woman when i have expressed concern with her total lack of energy or empathy, is galling and absolutely unacceptable. This clinic sucks because of her and i am not convinced that her management has any care for our community beyond making money!

Highly recommend Dr james dimmer, what an amazing and compassionate doctor he is, took the time to listen and doesn't try and rush you out of the door. Absolutely recommend him for anyone wanting a caring GP as I haven't always had that experience with other doctors

I have a general anxiety disorder, when I came in the front office lady told me I had to get a mask from Next door, I had no problem doing that, but her attitude was rude and made me feel unwelcome so I left, I'm sure this place is good just bring a mask.

Update: changed rating from 3 star to 1. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Dont go here. Too many serious mistakes in the management of mine and my family's health to count. Being recalled to see the doctor. Taking time off work to attend and for no reason. You turn up, wait 45 mins just to be told youve been sent a recall text by mistakes and to go home. This has happened to me 3 times now. I bet they still get paid by medicare for the appointment though.hrmmm. Referrals getting lost or forgotten or names mispelt or sent to the wrong place numerous times. Plus many other negative issues. Including the below. Find somewhere else to go. I wouldn't even recommend this clinic to Putin!

When this clinic first opened it was fantastic. Very good service and Doctors. Unfortunately almost 2 years later the clinic has lost it patient focus. I have a severe issue currently and the Dr has forgotten to raise and send these important test requests for 2 weeks? !? I'll be seeing another GP elsewhere now as 39kgs just isn't a weight I can be at while hanging around and waiting awhile for test request!

Haven’t had the best experiences with the receptionists here, some can be rude and once had to deal with a receptionist not knowing how to print a invoice so therefore I could NOT do a medical claim through my private health insurer. However highly recommend the doctors and nurses that are here! They do an amazing job and I come here every time for them!

The Clinic staff Drs and nurses really helpful and professional Including the reception staff. No complaints always happy to help.

Great staff who are very responsive to our needs. They have always managed to fit in an appointment at short notice which my family is very appreciative of. Nice facility and friendly people. Glad to have this in our community.

Close proximity of medical care, dentist and pharmacy has been very helpful. My medical condition needed all the three since my tooth ache was getting worst. I am very satisfied with the doctors service.

Very happy for this medical centre to be operating in Kalamunda, excellent practice for the hills and very modern with all the facilities.

My daughter had an appointment with very sore foot and we waited 35 mins and i saw 2 patients gone in when i asked the reception and the answer was " i don't know why! " Beeeeep wrong answer.poor customer service. I have been here when thet first opened was good until now when they have more booking and trying to get more patients without any customer service. Im sorry I'm going other clinic.

They have all the facilities, medical dental and pharmacy under one roof excellent for Kalamunda community.

Kalamunda GP Super Clinic are great. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The service they have given me and my family has been wonderful. Would highly recommend going there. It is a one stop shop for all medical, dental, pharmacy etc.
