Junction Pub & Tourist Park reviews
26 I recently stayed at Junction Pub and Tourist Park. I was there with my work team and we each got single rooms with ensuite. They were very basic and far away from the main building, which was not ideal as there was no wifi/it felt isolated and very much like basic camping, which is why I gave the rooms 2 stars, but having said that it was only the single rooms that were like that- the caravan area and the cabins looked really nice and if I was going to stay again, I would pay the extra for a cabin as they were really luxurious looking and close to the main building. I'm giving Junction pub and tourist park a 5-star rating though for my stay overall, because even though my room was not ideal, the food was some of the best I've eaten on all my travels around the state and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Erica was a magnificent host and really made our team feel welcome, gave us advice and help, and was just a friendly helpful legend. Thank so much for making our stay feel really great Erica and I will be looking forward to the next stay for sure.
Edit:
I traveled through Junction Pub and Tourist Park again 7 weeks later and I got a cabin this time. It was fabulous, very spacious, extremely well appointed with amenities and I was very happy with the room. Additionally the food and staff were just as amazing this time around so I definitely stand by the 5 star review.
We stayed here twice on our trip (August) once on the way up further north and once on way back both for 2 nights - fantastic place to stay - clean well equiped facilities (toilets, showers, laundry, camp kitchen with good bbq) - very friendly and helpful staff - we had a non powered site - the pub had amazing food (great chef) - was a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend it
Stopped in for a beer
Seriously great chips
Best chips I've had in a way long time.
Clean little town
I came for 3 days for work. I expected very little. I was very pleasantly surprised! Very clean modern cabins and the pub meals at night were fantastic!
Great job. Thanks.
Stayed overnight on our way to Mt Augustus & again on way out. Service, staff & meals were fabulous
Good value clean modern cabin and tasty grilled fish and chips. Would definitely stay again.
Bloody awesome pub friendly staff. Food absolutely brilliant we came from Carnarvon on our long journey round Aus to check it out. Michelin star should be awarded.
Flavour some tasty had lamb shank and oxtail curry yum yum.
Great pub feed! I’m a vegetarian and they didn’t have anything on the menu vegetarian, but they whipped up a great veggie burger!
Friendly staff, great hospitality!
Nice cabins. Friendly helpful staff. Has a pool and pub.
Ohhh and great chef and Freddy is amazingly helpful.
We camped here two nights while waiting for the road to Kennedy Ranges to reopen. Pub has the best hot chips this side of the black stump. Caravan park has good facilities and quite clean. Camp kitchen could do with a bin but otherwise thumbs up.
Very good service the chef is superb represent me one of the best lamb shanks I ever have the chef it was very kind very belated thank you very much I will be back
A really good chef cooks at this pub. The food is great, the presentation is excellent. Highly recommended.
Great caravan park with everything you would want. Green sites, great facilities (like new), excellent value and friendly, helpful staff. We took advantage of the local pub and stopped off for some beers and food. The food was excellent and the locals very friendly, it was a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Glad we stopped and we will definitely do it again
Park & Pub
Had a meal at the pub - party of 8. Several of us had lamb shanks. I’m generally disappointed when I have them but the chef did a superb job with these.
Lots of flavour and the meat was falling off the bone.
The pool was a welcome relief from the high temperatures we experienced while there. The caravan park is well worth a stop.
Great place to stay on your way out yonder.excellent service from 'omo'and fantastic communication from management prior to arrival.the Bar has great variety of drinks and meals decent.outdoor BBQ were very clean but needed little more heat.rooms were clean and comfy very quite at night.pool needed more chlorine, would stay again
We spent the night in one of their cabins. All very new, comfy and spotlessly clean. Also the food in the bar is first class for a remote place like this. Thanks to Chef Omo, who prepared one of the best burgers we had so far (and we had quite a few). The other menus other guests had looked delicious as well.
Absolutely brilliant! World class chef in Omo and brilliant service from the manager, Fred. Absolute hidden gem!
A great oasis after many hundreds of kms of dirt roads. All the facilities were clean and the meal we had at the tavern was excellent. The staff were friendly.
Unfortunately the pub was closed today but the cafe was open. The chicken schnitzel burger and chips was delicious. Could have shared this meal. Clean facilities Ann's very friendly staff. Thanks
Stayed 2 nights. Enjoyed our stay in the park. New and modern. Covers all needs for accommodation. Large camp kitchen, clean amenities, well equipt laundry. Modern drinking hole with Restaurant, pool and petrol station with shop.
