Junction Hotel Moora reviews
22Excellent budget accommodation in a country setting. Throughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to anyone
After parking our van at the caravan park, we
decided not to cook our dinner but to put some $$ into the local community and have a pub meal. We were definitely NOT disappointed. This very we unassuming pub has heaps to offer. Cold beer and wine and the best pub meals ever. No burgers or pasta tonight so we had. Grilled fish with creamy garlic prawns on top, Hawaiian pizza parmigiana, chicken Goreng and creamy garlic prawns. Amazballs. Please stop and support the locals.
Had the Ribs on a Monday night only place open. Price was not expensive, meal was really good, big portion Recommend it for a great Pub feed.
Had a lovely lunch, with fantastic people, food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great place to cool off and enjoy an ale or grab a bit have a punt or just catch up with Friends or colleagues and maybe you can take up a room maybe all the above
Great old pub atmosphere! Made me feel very welcome.lovely wood fire, great food, TAB, free WiFi, short/long term accommodation and pool tables with your friendly stranger stopping you for a game full of energy and laughs! Highly recommended
T-bone steak looked like the size of a cow lol. A little too much sinew for my liking making it a little tough to cut through but still tasty. Service was awesome.
Had a great meal and a couple of cold crisp beers. It was a bit noisy but, hey, it's a country pub on a Saturday night. Thoroughly recommended
Very disappointing stay
Staff is friendly, bar and restaurant was fine but that's about it
Pigeons and rodents inside the roof, hotel looks abandoned & in urgent need or repairs.
Rooms look ok but very very old mattress, inadequate light. Communal Showers and toilets are a big let down. Overall feel of the hotel was very unsafe & unhygienic. Would not recommend to anyone.
Stayed here for work staff were great rooms were not cleaned in the 9 days that i stayed there pigeons and rodents inside the roof keeping you awake at night bathrooms not cleaned in this tome either wouldn't stay here ever again
Decent for a one night's stay. One toilet and one shower for female facilities is a bit disappointing
Nice food, though seating is a little limited inside. For women staying in the hotel though, the bathroom left a lot wanting as only one shower and toilet for all female guests. Room was comfy and reasonably quiet.
There are two hotels in Moora, the Junction Hotel and Drovers Inn. One always cooks the steak the way I ask, the other so far has overcooked the steak every time.
I'll give you a hint. Drovers Inn always overcook the steak ;)
Also a scotch fillet (special) is $25, at the other place, it is $42.50. I'll let you decide where to eat.
Fire was starting. Beer was great and then my steak topped it off. Good company and a great garlic sauce.
Lovely.
Nice place, excellent meals and clean and tidy rooms all with air con and free clothes dryer and washing machine. Friendly staff as well
Price power not available
way too expensive for what you get
bathroom is not available in the room
and here in our room the ceiling comes down and mold
ok for one night but not longer
but may it be clean:)
We went for Wednesday night parmi night, the food was nice but as we were sitting outside the weather made it hard to hear it other as well as the music, it's reasonably priced, service and staff were very friendly
Two nights here. Top dollar charged for what can only be described as low quality budget accommodation. Shared bathrooms would be ok if regularly serviced but dirty towels left on floor and not cleaned all weekend. Cat excrement all over balcony outside bedroom door and rotten boards meant balcony was a hazard. A dog greeted us on the first night but growled in the hallway making a visit to the bathroom impossible. The only positive was the friendly staff. Overall a very disappointing visit.
We went for lunch. The food was really nice and they cater for children aswell. The dining room was tidy and set up well.
