I would give JRW Bridal a 100 star rating if I could! When I reflect on my wedding dress journey, I feel so happy and very lucky to have found Jo, as she is absolutely amazing and very skilled.
Having visited several bridal shops, I was finding it difficult to find my ‘meant to be’ wedding dress. I liked elements of different dresses but never found one that I fell in love with. The biggest element that I wanted in my wedding dress, and couldn’t find, was a pink wedding dress!
Thankfully, my Mum found Jo on Instagram!
I knew my ‘meant to be’ dress was on its way after my very first meeting with Jo. She welcomed my mum and myself into her home studio many times throughout the process and was always kind, warm and professional. Jo understood exactly what I was after and made my pink wedding dress dream reality! She has an extensive knowledge of body shapes and anything wedding dress related.
Jo is a perfectionist and she went out of her way to ensure that my dress was everything I wanted. To be honest, my dress absolutely exceeded all my expectations.
A special memory that I will hold dear is seeing my Dad tear up seeing me in my wedding dress for the first time - he loved my dress, as did everyone else!

JRW was the most relaxing part of my journey. When starting to plan my wedding, I had a vision on how I wanted my dress too look. I thought it was going to be overwhelming and extremely over priced, I didn’t know where to start.

I met Joanne at a wedding expo in Fremantle. I instantly felt welcomed and got a warm vibe from Joanne. A few weeks later I met with Joanne and explained my vision and within no time, that vision came to life.

Joanne was able to accommodate efficiently and honestly with the design I wanted. Joanne allowed me to take control on what I was wanting but gave her genuine opinion when needed, which I was grateful for as there were things that wouldn’t of worked, if honesty wasn’t given.

Joanne made this experience calm, fun and wholesome. I was so thankful that I found Joanne when I did, I knew from the first meeting that I made the right choice. If you’re looking for a custom made dress that fits you and your personality, I couldn’t recommend a more suitable person/business.

At my final fitting, I was worried that my dress didn’t look “ perfect” on my body, which were my own insecurities. Joanne told me to own it as the dress fits the personality not the body, if we feel confident, we will look confident. This changed my whole view on also what clothes “ should “ look like on a body.

I came across Jo at a wedding expo. She was so friendly and knowledgeable right from the start. She offered to set up a meeting in her home and that was it I never looked back. I showed her some photos of the kind of dresses I was looking for and she then did up the drawings. Looking at the dress on paper it looked amazing and I was so excited to see it come to life. Jo was always very informative and kept updating me of her progress along the way and sending photos of her progress as the dress came along. I was absolutely blown away with the end result it was everything I had hoped for and so much more. Jo was such a pleasure and a delight to work with. I got my dress made while living in the UK and it was beautiful! It not only fit me perfectly but it was so comfortable! I was worried the size may be off because I lost weight but the way it was made it didn't matter if I lost or put on weight it just fit perfectly! Also Jo was so supportive during the whole thing making sure I got exactly what I wanted! But mainly my dress was gorgeous?

Joanne was amazing to deal with from start to finish. So warm and welcoming and truly interested in you as a bride and a person. I brought along some ideas I had collected for inspiration to our first meeting, together with some special fern organza fabric from New Zealand that I was hoping she could weave in. The bespoke outfit Joanne then created for me was stunning and everything I hoped it would be. It didn't matter that I was a middle-aged bride, or that I wasn't after a traditional dress, the outfit Joanne created was of the highest quality and it made me feel special and beautiful on the day. I couldn't have asked for more and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending JRW Bridal to anyone.

After going to every bridal shop in Perth and not being able to find my dream dress, I met with Jo who understood exactly what I wanted and she delivered! Wow, I cannot express how amazing my journey with Jodes was. Being on different continents, and only ever having one actual fitting this was no challenge for Jodes! After many zoom calls and thousands of Pinterest pictures Jodes created a dress better than anything I could have imagined! From designing, to wearing it on the day, I loved every second and felt like a princess throughout! Nothing was too much effort and everything was perfect to my style and shape. Jodes is truly exceptional at what she does and I would highly recommend her talent! On top of it all, she is an amazing person!

Had a definite idea what I wanted to wear to my son's wedding, but was unable to find anything close to it in the shops. Jodie created my idea perfectly and I loved wearing it on the day and was very comfortable in it. Can highly recommend Jodie for mother of the bride or the groom outfits.

I knew when I started looking for a dress that I would have a hard time, I had a very specific idea in my head that I knew was a bit extravagant. I tried on lots of dresses at the shops and although some were beautiful, none of them were what I had pictured in my mind. So even though everyone told me I'd have to pay tens of thousands to get something made I organised to chat to Joanne about my vision. Everything I asked for she said yes and although I asked for quite a lot the price was super reasonable. Not that much more than buying a dress from the shop.

After getting engaged, the first thing I did was to start looking at wedding dresses. After about 3 months of looking around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, I wasn't finding what I wanted and was feeling a bit uninspired with the choices and the price tags.
I decided to contact Jo, knowing she lived in Perth on the other end of the country, to see if she would be interested in making a dress for me. Jo was so enthusiastic and helpful, the fact that there was 4000ish kms between us, didn't present an issue.
Over a matter of weeks, we worked together over WhatsApp (text & video) to go through the design and fitting process. It was so easy and I felt at ease knowing I was being looked after by the lovely Jo.
My wedding date is in October this year, despite the uncertainty of COVID 19 and the challenges it has presented with weddings and state borders, Jo has reassured me that she will support me whatever way she can, an absolute relief for a bride planning in this climate.
I would highly recommend Jo for her professional yet personable approach to designing your wedding dress, no matter your post code!

Having gone through the design process from start to finish with Joanne (JRW Bridal), she was so easy and accommodating to work with, the end result was the dress of my dreams. We designed closely together, and with each fitting, she tailor made my dress's design, comfort and fit to what ended in being the dress I had envisioned my whole life.
