Jewel Cave reviews
74One of the best cave when you travel South from Perth, must visit place. Highly recommended.
Fantastic cave to visit. I'm from Perth and traveled to do the cave tours. Jewel cave is the largest show cave in Australia. It features many different formations and a well informed tour.
There were elevated co² levels but it wasn't an issue for the people on our tour.
This site has also had 5 Tasmanian Tiger remains discovered. Very informative tour guide who could answer any questions we had along the way.
Along the tour there are light shows as well as some funny parts.
Tom was our guide and he was amazing! Took the time to ask and remember our names, it made the tour feel more special. Good sense of humor and overall made the tour really enjoyable. The cave itself was beautiful and filled with multiple different formations! Great experience and I highly recommend!
We went to the 12: 30 session and it was excellent. The guide was very well prepared, we learned a lot!
A very beautiful cave and an amazing experience!
Digby was our tour guide and he was fricken awesome! Thanks a tonne, legend!
Wow! What an amazing experience! The cave is absolutely phenomenal! This is definitely not one to be missed! Guided tours every hour. Ticket $24 per adult. Tour took roughly an hour to complete.
Great cave with enthusiastic tour guides making the experience way better. Magnificent views in the cave aswell!
I'm a hash critic and only give 5 stars to something outstanding so 3 is still good.
For WA these caves are probably pretty good so this will depend on the person. I grew up near Jenolan Caves in NSW and which makes these look small by comparison. If you haven't seen caves you'll find these great but it's my perspective.
It’s stunning! Marvellous nature work! Thank our guide for the human and nature stories of this cave!
It is an amazing experience, however there are 500 steps to go up and down. An unique skeleton af ancient Tasmanian tiger is found in this cave.
We came here by chance as cape leeuwin lighthouse was closed for major restoration, then went to Glenarty road restaurant and that was closed as well.
But as luck had it we had a good feed of home made sausage rolls, beef and bacon pies, beetroot arancini balls, and chips with gravy at the Jewel caves Cafe.
Then we went for the caves tour which was really awesome experience as this cave is huge! The biggest showcase cave in WA. Good experience
Jewel Cave is a must see if you’re in this area. Very awe-inspiring, the tour is also informative and interesting.
1.00 o'clock tour 9/1/22, forgot our tour guides name, but he was a very nice young fellow, made us laugh and was very thorough and articulate, had a great time
This place is fantastic. Lots of stairs down into the cave and of course back up again but well worth the effort. Beautiful.
Must see attraction when travelling past cave's road. Friendly guides give you a tour of the marvelous cave, as well as offering a cafe to grab some food afterwards
Best tour I've been on!
10/10 recommend!
Tom was amazing, funny and was full of information.
Beautiful cave. Guides are full of knowledge and willing to answer any questions even when it's from little ones. Definitely worth going to.
Jewel cave is simply mind blowing. The cave showcased the amazing rock formation of stalactites, stalagmites and helictites. The tour was fun, informative and interesting as they guide you and explain the key aspects and factors of how the formations came to be. I highly recommend families and children to come and visit this cave as it provides with helpful information about the cave and ways to help the environment. The staffs were very friendly and I had a great time there.
My partner and I arrived at 3: 30pm on Friday afternoon and had the entire place to ourselves! The guide; she was fantastic. We spent the time sharing facts, stories and phallic jokes. Was an easy and enjoyable tour, would highly recommend
