Jellybeans Child Care Como

My daughter attended Jelly Beans Childcare in Como while we were living in Perth. She loved it and the staff and educators made such a huge impact on her learning development. They update you every hour on what your child has done throughout the day as well as activities they have done. I would highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending Jellybeans from 7 months of age and we can’t recommend them more. All the staff are welcoming and my daughter is always happy to go with any member of staff at drop off. They always updating us and taking time out of their busy days to up load photo so we can see how much fun their having. All staff members especially those in nursery have made starting daycare so easy and enjoyable for both us and our daughter.

What an absolutely amazing facility! The centre is warm and homey and each room is appropriately fitted out for each age group. The educators are excellent, adapting to each child’s specific needs. The management team go above and beyond what is expected for all the families who attend the centre and the cook provides tasty and nutritious food for all the children, catering to individual dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend this top notch child care centre.

We have loved our time at Jelly Beans Como! Our child leaves the centre happy as, and the educators are always friendly with an update or two about our child's day.

I have been asked to take down this review several times. My review is about the poor attitude, response and service provided by Anita and not the care. We have sent multiple, and I mean multiple reminders to fix problems with our Centrelink refund since we enrolled our son and he started on the 19th June. For many months she would ignore us, my husband asked each time and she would say she would fix it that night, nothing would be done. A few months ago I accidentally left a 1 star review because I was going to put a review on my phone and the app recorded a 1 star no comment review. Anita phoned my husband that day and we finally got part of the money refunded.

Still the rebate was not fixed for our initial enrolment period so 3 weeks ago I wrote a negative review, again, finally hallelujah I got a phone call and some movement appeared to happen however we did not receive our final rebate from the 19th June to 2nd July.

It has now been 3 weeks and I asked the daycare centre to provide me with the $200 while they sort the rebate.

I understand that working with Centrelink can be difficult but Anita has repeatedly promised to do things and repeatedly not done them, I am not talking 3 times I am talking over 20 times. When you have to repeatedly contact someone and email and phone and visit and request it starts to feel like you are harassing them. We have been paitient but after several months of this, you start to lose patience.

She only acts to avoid a negative review only and requests that you remove them. Her management of this is completely unacceptable.

On a positive note I have no complaints about the staff and my son, he seems happy, its a nice environment. If it was not so nice, I would move him straight away because this is very poor management. That being said we have enquired about other local daycare centres, we are paying a lot for VERY POOR management and service and response to this Centrelink issue.

A big thank you to Anita and her AMAZING team for taking such good care of our little girl over the last 3 years. Great facilities and fantastic educators.

Thank goodness for Como Jellybeans! I was able to return to work knowing that my daughter was being looked after by professionals who are experienced and knowledgeable in early childcare. The facilities are wonderful and staff dedicated to looking after your child as if they were their own.

Jellybeans Como is a great centre, both my children have attended over the last three years and now go to after school care. The facilities are great, staff are friendly and very accomodating and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you to Jenna-Lee, Anita and all the staff for looking after my babies!

Excellent center and staff, Anita and Jenna Lee both as managers have done an excellent job, particularly in light of all the changes that took place with centrelink and funding, dealing with issued all caused at centrelink's end and spending many hours on the phone on behalf of parents trying to resolve confusion

The centre manager was a great help to resolve the issue of payments from Centrelink that were outstanding for June, due to the switchover to new systems. I thought that we would never get this sorted with Centrelink but thanks to the manager's persistence, we worked it out.

WARNING THERE HAS BEEN A MANAGEMENT CHANGE!
I was excited to have my son start at Jellybeans due to the good reviews that I had read online, however it was a nightmare from start to finish and I am still not out of this tangled web yet.
First of all don't expect them to answer your emails, enquiries or concerns, the manager of the centre is a complete joke. When I sent an email letting her know that I was giving my two weeks notice due to my concerns of how the centre was being run she deleted my son from xplor and he wasn't able to attend his final week. Not that I feel safe letting him go back there!
I had Warren come home multiple times with his bottom not wiped properly and his nappy put on in such a ridiculous and uncomfortable way I was convinced they were doing it with their eyes closed!
I decided to pull Warren from the centre the day I dropped him off and there was one staff member in the room with 13 kids. I went down stairs to inform the manager and she sighed and said she'd go up in a minute. For those who don't know the minimum ratio for that age group is one to five, there should have been a minimum of three adults present. The fact that there wasn't is ILLEGAL. Seeing the managers reaction to my concern made me angry beyond belief. This is the safety of not just my child but 12 other children in that room. They are often at full capacity so they should have enough staff on but don't.
I have contacted Jellybeans company in regards to this centre and I'm currently in contact as to my experience here. After enrolling him in a near by centre I was informed by staff there that he is the fourth child to switch to that centre since management changed over.
If you're looking to send your kids to a loving, caring and well run centre avoid this place at all costs! Look into Studio 64, WONDERFUL place, prompt with phone calls and emails and make your concerns feel reassured.

I checked out several daycare programs in the Perth metro area. Once I met with the manager Jenna Lee and had a tour of facility, I knew it was a right place for my son. The daycare itself is really safe and clean and the staff member I love them so much as my son dose.
Thanks to teacher Christina and her assistants Carly and Heidi I can see my son difference through the journey and improving of speaking and social behaviour.
Also it’s great that your child can learn new language in this center and again thanks to Jenna Lee who put such a big effort for kids.
I would highly recommend jelly beans Como to all families without hesitation.

Excellent staff and great facilities! Would highly recommend this centre to anyone. My daughter has made some great friends and loves every carer/educater she has had in her 2.5 years of attending.
